Really works!
I bought this to repair my crown which had fallen out as I couldn't get a dental appointment for 4 months! I Wasn't expecting it to last long however by the time my appointment came around it was still holding in my crown. My dentist jokingly asked if I wanted a job as I'd done such a good job of repairing it.He didn't want to try and take it out as it was still stuck sold and told me he was just going to leave the repair I'd done the way it is and if it comes lose I've to go back and see em. I will update when this happens to give an idea of how long it lasts. All and all am very happy with this product as the cost was much cheaper than what my dentist repair would have been.

Seems like a good temporary fix
I had a gold crown come off while eating a toffee. Not currently having an NHS dentist I had limited, or very expensive options to fix it back in place so took a chance on this pack. The adhesive kit arrived next day and although quite small should be enough for 5 or 6 repairs. As other reviews have stated the main thing is preparation. Firstly try a dry run - making sure you can easily locate the cap in the right position. Then clean and sanitise the tooth and crown (I used Listerine). Thoroughly dry the area (I used cotton wool and tissues to keep it dry). The Instructions are pretty clear and I used the recommended proportions of powder and liquid for the cement mixture. You need to work quite quickly using only sufficient adhesive. Apply and maintain light pressure on the cap and keep the area dry for around 15 minutes. It's been 5 days now and seems very secure, but time will tell.

UNQUESTIONABLE PROFESSIONAL DENTAL PRODUCT
This product is amazing! In the uk dentistry in my opinion is archaic and barbaric. As if that wasn’t off putting enough you can’t find a dental practice for toffee (probably a good thing) and private dentists are clearly way over paid (Aston Martin and Porsche SUV’s outside the practices!Back to this product though…I’ve taken to replacing a broken tooth at the front of my mouth, a premolar, which was unnecessarily drilled and filled as a young adult to which then broke in half as an adult.A dentist then root filled this but I never returned for a crown as the experience was atrocious.Using temporary filling kits until now have worked but only as advertised, temporarily. This product cost a little more than others I’ve used BUT the product really is worth the extra £s.The mixing phase can be difficult using the laminated post-it notes supplied, use a small saucer or plate.Once mixed, 1x scope for small cavity, 1.5x for medium cavity, 2x scopes for a large cavity, stick with making sure you work the gel and powder together until you get a paste, keep going, it will become smoother. - NOTE: if its texture is runny, you’ve mixed a little too much gel in. Less is better. You can work the filling material for a little longer than a minute, I found I rushed like crazy and made mistakes, so relax a little and make sure it’s positioned correctly.Press the filling (now a semi hardened substance) and feel confident pressing it in to the cavity and then holding it there.Voila! You’ve just done diy dentistry. And I quote a dentist who looked at my mouth recently, “wow. That isn’t coming out, I’ve never seen such a good product for home fillings, there’s no point me taking that out as it’s just as good as what I can replace it with”So there you have it. Highly recommended.

Overall not very good
I found that when used as a filler it didn't last very long.I have used a similar product with very good results. My observation was that the adhesive used seemed a bit weak.

Easy reliable fix
I have a Crown / Bridge which is three teeth. A molar and two incisors. After a number of trouble free years it came out, pulled out by a toffee sweet. I could get it back in place no problem but it was getting pulled out by the eating action. I couldn’t get in with any of the local dentists so was considering super glue.My Wife suggested this as a cost effective solution with lots of positive reviews.I mixed a test piece using the suggested dose of powder and liquid using the supplied spatula and the laminated post it notes. It was difficult to get it to mix in a uniform manner. Not very successful. I tried another test piece mixing it on the back of a small side plate. Far easier to mix as you can scrape the mixture onto the edge of the plate and build a stockpile of filling material ready to use. It was still pliable after 80 secs.My Bridge had a large area under the molar which had been bonded to the fixing in my mouth. The third tooth in this bridge has a smaller area where it had been bonded to the remains of a broken tooth. So I needed a decent amount of adhesive mixing. I scraped out as much old bonding agent as I could with a pin punch. I was conscious of not damaging the Bridge. I then sterilised it and dried it fully. I mixed my paste using four spoons of powder with the correct amount of liquid as per the instructions. I did this in two batches again using the back of the side plate. I then half filled the mating surfaces of the Bridge with the material. I was conscious of not overfilling it and it not sitting in the correct place in my mouth. I swilled my mouth out with mouthwash and used a kitchen towel to dry the area. It can’t have been completely dry. I pushed the Bridge back into its place and bit down on it to get it seated correctly. Some excess material came out - nice minty flavour to it. This excess material I gently removed with a toothpick. That was just over a week ago. So far so good. It’s a strong bond and I can eat normally. I am conscious that it’s been repaired and am being more careful with how I chew, but am really pleased with how it’s worked so far. I will come back to update the review regarding durability.Last point: the side plate and spatula cleaned up with water with no issues. I did it whilst waiting for the bond to harden fully, so within a few minutes of mixingUpdate: 19th August - 2 months since repair. All good. Still in place and solid as a rock

Could not get it up stick
Tried mixing this three times & it was quite difficult - but it wouldn’t stick my crown back in at all - totally useless

This stuff is great... I live in a place where there is no nhs dentistry, and can't afford to go private at present... I lost a filling ,this stuff has done a great job replacing it. 6 months in and still in place.

Bon produit
