Pros:- light- portable- beautiful designCons:- max height too low- which leads to extending the center column- which then leads to tripod becoming less stableI hike to my photography locations so weight and portability is the most important thing for me.Even though I need to extend the center column it is pretty stable compared to other tripods.I sacrificed little bit of stability in order to gain maximum portability. From my point of view, the purchase was well worth the money. Remember, there is no such thing as a perfect tripod that is Light, Stable, and Portable (unless it is made out of vibranium if you know what I mean).

Traveled across the country with this but have only had the opportunity to use it once. The ballhead is solid and the ease of setup in an unfavorable location was great!

It may be on the higher end of your budget for a tripod but it is worth the extra spend. Well made, sturdy, easy to use and lots of combinations is use (even hang your camera from it upside down to get shots from as low as possible). I was impressed by this piece of equipment and am sure it will last many years.
