Although the cost seems high, I have also bought cheaper versions that are inferior in build. The 3LT clamp is well constructed and clamps securely. The only problem I found is the need for a tiny washer so the bolt would securely lock the plate to the ballhead.

Well made and easy to fit. Would recommend Three Legged Things products. Not cheap but worth every penny
