This is my 2nd neko cat. The 1st was a porcelain gold-colored, arm-waving version with a no-cover battery compartment on the bottom. There are many versions of this cat on Amazon, most if not all with the "frequently returned item" warning. Consistent with the experience of others, my 1st neko cat was prone to battery compartment problems. So when it died, I opted to spend more in the hopes of receiving a better product. Right out of the box you can tell this is a much higher quality neko cat. It includes an attractive cloth pillow to sit on and a matching bell necklace. The battery compartment has a lid and it can also can be plugged in, if desired. The arm has been waving continuously for a few weeks now and I'm confident it will last.

This product is exactly as seen if not better in person. Very good quality!!!!

The cat is well made and the pillow he sits on is a very nice touch. The packaging was beautiful and our girls use it now for storing their “treasures.” Highly recommended!

The media could not be loaded. We originally purchased this lucky cat this past February 2023 to add to our reception desk. We were excited with the quality of this lucky cat and quality. The cat required 2xAA Battery.Each time the arm stopped I thought the battery were running out of it cycle so I would change it. However. I have another cat that I havent change the battery on, but the arm was still waving.I started to assess the lucky cat purchased from here and found that the arm were somehow broken/kept getting stuck.I did everything I could to fix the arm but it would only wave a few time before it stopped again. The cat now just sit at my reception desk without being able to wave it’s arm.It didn’t last as long as it should 😞 we had it only for 3.5 months

I was alittle worried due to other reviews but this is a great lucky cat. Study and heavy. Great quality and beautiful. Will make for a great Xmas present for my husband. Would recommend!
