Epistemology: A Beginner's Guide (Beginner's Guides)

Very accessible introduction to epistemology - Kind of a page-turner for me
If you want to get into epistemology, this is a very accessible introduction. For me, it was a page turner and thought provoker. As someone who works with logic; I enjoyed it. This is a great follow on to the classical first order Aristotelian logic you learned in your undergrad work. You may remember that if A -> B, and B -> C then A ->C (i.e. Hypothetical Syllogism), but when you think A is true and you're ready to say something about C, wait... is A really true? How would you know for sure or is it just a belief? Interesting stuff. Recommended (Feed your head)

Very informative.
Although the book is part of a beginner's guide series, I found it quite detailed with well chosen 'case studies.' I am no philosophy major; yet, I have some exposure to Epistemology concepts. I found the book accessible and more than covered by needs. I did not rate it 5 stars only because I could not compare this to other works on the subject.

Great condition, terrible content
I opted for amused edition, which arrived in excellent condition. The book itself is absolute tripe, though. Not recommended. Tedious and uninstructive.

Quite brilliant!
Don't try to read philosophers before you read a general guide, and Espistomology is where you must start. And this is a terrific book about it. Wish I'd read it before trying to understand Kant and Hume!

Good selection of authors
It is useful to have knowledge associated with different philosophers, especially in this topic where there are lots of theories and -isms.
