I used this product to back laminated papers placed on the classroom rug providing "seating" for our little tykes in Vacation Bible school. The velcro rough surface grabbed on to the surface of the carpet and prevented the "seats" from turning into sliding problems. The illustrations captured the kids' attention and controlled the spacing and location of the seating. Great product! In fact, I'm saving them for next year.

I read of reviews of different brands before choosing this one.The Velcro Sides: I didn't need (or want) industrial strength Velcro, since I am just using this to fasten a small laminated picture to a magnet, that I would be able to change often and reuse. Heavy duty would have hurt the photo after repeated use, so this lighter Velcro was just right, and as advertised.The Adhesive on the back: The adhesive on this brand is AWESOME, and stuck perfectly to both the multiple laminated photos, and to the magnets. Poor adhesive on other brands was a complaint in many other selections' reviews, and I didn't want to mess with glue or something else to make this work. Note: A lot of reviews complain that the adhesive doesn't stick to fabric....but I don't believe that is what any manufacture intends, nor advertises, that is for use on fabrics. Also, I did see some complaints that if the adhesive got wet, it no longer worked. I can't speak to either of these things, but I can say that for use on smooth surfaces, indoor settings, this stuff is great.I'm very happy with my purchase.

I use this for everything!Hook the remote to the wall so you'll always have it ready. Dad hack, hook it under the end table, so you don't lose it when you snooze to the little thieves that sneak in.Phone - Soft Velcro. Hooks: Car, Wall by bed, wall by charger, under living room tables, wall in garage/shop bench.Guns - soft velcro for the gun, attach light cables and buttons with ease - this stuff doesn't come off unless you're submerged AND rubbing it.Computers - customize your can with fans and use this tape to secure them for the best air flow.TIPS: Don't put it on remote, phone, backs, etc. The velcro is good and can put too much stress and will rip the back off. If you need to take it off, get some alcohol and patience. it's on there good. It's got 5 stars on the adhesion b/c it stays, and 5 stars for removal because it stays as well. I don't think it should be particularly easy to remove, so that's a 5 star.

I bought this product a long time ago for one thing, but have since used it in many different applications. I was worried I would have way more than I needed, but about once a month I find that I need it for something.I recommend ditching the wimpy tape they ship it with to keep it unravelling and do this instead: undo the whole roll, roll it up with the adhesive side in and the hooks or fluff out, then take a strip of the other roll and use that to hold it together.

I bought this to stick my remote onto my recliner and it worked great for that so far ive found myself using this on everything I can find its been pretty useful for speaker and fan controls that are so small and easy to lose i hung them over my bed and are now in easy reach. The adhesive is super strong so much so that I had some trouble removing it off of plastic when I wanted to place it on another spot although this os good so it can support weight I do think it might cause some damage to paint on a wall when removing but I'm ok with that just need to plan better when placing it so I don't need to remove it in the first place. The velcro strength is also very strong ive found my self using less on the actual item its holding and more on the wall so the velcro is easier to detach but the strength is definitely impressive.

As a crafter I have a long history with adhesive Velcro and this by far had the best adhesion! I'm using it on fleece liners for a hedgehog so lots of fuzz and scratching and washing. It took about 4-6 washes for the ends to start curling but even then it was only by a half inch or so. The adhesive is very sticky but when laying it down it was easy to remove and reposition but once there for awhile it's there. Another issue I've had with other brands is with the backing ripping or hard to come off NOT here the flim is thick enough and strong enough to peel up and off easily. Also the hooks and loops aren't wimpy it takes some pull to get them apart but not too much where you feel annoyed. They have found a great balance between strength and easy to use... I've bought it twice!!

Need to make sure you dont cut even pieces of both sides of the tape. I would recommend a 1 to 5 ratio. The problem is if you cut both sides 1 inch and stick it to something. When you try to separate both sides, it actually gets removed from what it was sticking to. The grip between both sides of the tape is very strong. So with one-inch cut, I cut the other side to a 5th of the size. This way it stays together plus I can remove it when needed without it coming off the initial surface that I stuck it to.If you plan to not remove them much then its great, if you want to separate them once in a while then it can be tough.
