Great Value, Not Perfect
I bought these as for a practice kit that stays at home. They are excellent for that purpose, and the crash/ride stands are suitable to take on gigs. The boom stand even has a removable counterweight and can support my bracket-mounted tom. Amazing value! Things to note: - The price has risen since I bought these for $112 USD, so check how they compare to competitors - The snare stand feels cheap, especially when adjusting the basket spread. It will hold a snare drum but I wouldn't take it on gigs. - The hi-hat stand feels a bit "gritty" as you open and close it, like there is some friction between the rod and its casing. Not a big deal, but again, more suitable for a secondary kit. - The hi-hat clutch. The one I received has red coloring and appears different from the one currently displayed in the ad. The one currently shown looks like you'll have to throw it out and spend a few dollars on a decent clutch. If you do receive the red one, it has a flaw but a workaround. The larger nut that screws on the bottom to support the weight of the hi-hat does not have a bite position, which means it doesn't lock. It will slowly unscrew as you play the hi-hats. You can remedy this by taking one of the two smaller silver nuts that rest at the top of the clutch, and screwing it on the bottom underneath the larger nut. The two nuts (haha) together will create a lock and prevent the unscrewing. Again, this would be viable for a home solution on a kit that doesn't get torn down and set up repeatedly, but not really gigworthy. TLDR great value. Hi-hat and snare stands are for home only. Straight and boom stands are gig-worthy.

Great beginner cymbal stand set.
Recently, I received a free set of drums that were missing cymbals and cymbal stands. I wanted an inexpensive set of stands to go with the inexpensive set of Meinl Brass cymbals I got. I plan to pass these on when I upgrade to a new drum kit. All the cymbal stands work great. I was happy the boom cymbal stand had a counter weight and I used it for my heaviest 20" ride cymbal which allowed it to swing out over my 16" tom. My only complaint is the hi hat stand. It's very basic and difficult to adjust. The positives: The packaging was in excellent shape, it was very easy to put together, the stands balance well and have a professional look, the snare stand worked as expected. The negatives: The hi-hat stand is definitely the weak point in this kit and will be the first piece of equipment from this set that will either break or you will want to upgrade to a hi hat stand with better features and manufacturing tolerances. Overall: This kit is worth it for the two cymbal stands and snare stand. You will want to upgrade the hi hat stand, kick pedal, and throne. These are the three pieces of equipment that build the foundation to a solid kit and it would benefit you to have the highest quality you can afford. The other stands will be replaced as they wear out and you get to a point where you frequently move your kit.

Great stands and a great price
For the price I wasn't sure what to expect. What I received were very sturdy heavy duty stands. I'm very impressed with this purchase!

not super heavy duty, but decent for a practice kit
I bought this as cheap hardware for the practice space/gigs. It’s not the nicest stuff and not the heaviest of duty but it works pretty decent. Don’t put super heavy cymbals and beat the snot out of your stuff and you’ll be fine.

Hi hat is not the smoothest...
these work fine but the hi hat feels less than smooth and i feel metal on metal scraping. I'm trading it out for a different kind

Finally!
I have been searching for a quality stand set that is affordable and TA-DA! I found it!! I was a drummer as a teenager, got rid of my drumset when my husband and I had our daughter. NOW my husband wants a drumset! 🤣 Got him a sweet shell pack from Guitar Center (shell pack to avoid the horrible cheap cymbals that come with a complete set) and I have been having a heck of a time finding a COMPLETE stand set with a snare stand that wasn't a ridiculous price. This set is awesome! Very affordable and really good quality for what you are paying. Seriously. You don't have to pay close to a grand to get a really great stand set. Buy this one. Super easy to put together whether you have experience putting these things together or not. Would buy again and again. Thank you, Geeks! 😁
