If you have the 991 (2012+) cabriolet, you will like this convenience addition. After reading some car enthusiast forums, I was encouraged enough to tackle the installation by myself. I'm glad I did. It was easy enough and took me less than an hour.The module makes it really convenient to open or close your convertible top with a single button push (or pull). No more holding onto the button while you wait for the top to finish its maneuver.The unit was delivered timely. All of the parts were provided. As per the instructions, I was able to update the firmware in the unit by attaching it with a USB cable to my PC. I was then able, from my PC, to program the module with my preferred top, window, and radio settings. Everything worked exactly as it was supposed to.Highly recommended!

Was a pain in the rear to install but perhaps that was me; doing it at night (was too excited to wait) and having large hands. Took me about 45 mins and a lot of swearing but am pleased at the end result. Works seamlessly and should have been something that came standard with the cabriolet. More expensive on amazon that on some other websites but because I had credit here I chose to make the purchase here.

If you have a cabriolet; and in this case a Porsche 991 (2012+) Cabriolet, you have to have one of these units, giving you a number of features not available on the car as it comes from the factory.One button operation of the top, windows, and wind deflector, open/close remotely and more ...upgradeable and configurable via USB and a simple app installable on Windows and the Mac, the unit is easily installable by yourself with not much more than a screwdriver!

It was bought for my husbands Porsche Targa 4S. He loves it! He loved it so much that he showed a neighbor who also owns a Porsche and he just bought one!

Totally awesome!!! Car should come like this stock. Holding button down sucks, and doing from outside is always a showstopper.

The best ever

Recently bought a 2019 Porsche Targa GTS. To open or close the roof, you need to be in the car (running) and hold the switch during the whole operation. This little piece of magic eliminated that inconvenience. Easy to install and you're able to customize how it works before installing. Now I can press the remotes button a few times and the top opens and closes without having to start the car or use the console button. Great product and worked flawlessly out of the box.
