I purchased these for a senior citizen who wanted to backup documents and pictures on her laptop. I used these to backup the data. They are high speed at 3.0 and worked quite well. It only took about 1 1/2 hours to backup literally 20.000 files. I was pleased at how easy these were to use. They are sturdy and good value for the money. I even had 4 left over for personal use.

Others have called these slow, and it's true that they're not lightning fast. That's not an issue for me, but if it's what you're looking for, try a different brand. Note also, the product photos (very vaguely) imply that the colored markings light up when the drive is inserted. They don't. Finally, there's no tether or other design to keep the cap attached to the drive, so if you're prone to misplacing said caps, these probably aren't for you.

It is much cheaper than those found in a staionary store and works fine.
