I use this USB-C hub to connect three monitors to my laptop along with my headphones, and it has made my entire workspace so much more efficient. Everything plugs into one hub instead of juggling multiple adapters, and it works right away without needing any extra software. All three monitors display clearly, and I haven’t had any issues with lag or flickering. I also keep my headphones connected through it, which helps keep my desk setup clean and organized. It’s been a huge help for multitasking during work. The hub feels solid and well made. The only small downside is that when I have all three monitors and other accessories plugged in at once, it does get a little warm, but it hasn’t affected performance at all. Overall, it’s been very reliable and I would definitely buy it again. I’ve recommended this to other co-workers as well!

Works well and was easy to connect my Mac to an extra monitor. So glad it has a traditional USB port for my older flash drives.

I bought two of these a year apart and left them sitting in a bin until the other day when I decided to upgrade my 2018 Intel Macbook Pro's old USB-C to VGA adapter to one of these. (I was using it to send video to an old monitor that only has VGA and DVI). I wanted to use this one cause it has an extra USB3 type A port so it would free up one of the Thunderbolt 3 ports. After replacing my old USB-C to VGA adapter with this everything seemed fine as first but eventually I noticed that the battery was not charging. So I moved the charger to different ports and tried multiple other known good chargers and nothing I could do could get it to see any charger (SMC/NVRAM resets, etc). Turns out this adapter caused a failure in the Macbook Pro's USB-C power delivery circuitry, likely due to improper PD negotiation or an overvoltage condition. This resulted in permanent damage to the logic board, as the machine no longer accepts power from any known good charger. But at the time I did not associate it with this adapter, I assumed that the Macbook Pro 2018 15' just happened to die that day. Well I also have (had) a newer smaller Macbook Pro with an M2 chip that I hadn't really gotten around to using much yet so I took this as a sign that it was time to switch to it, so I get it all going, everything's working fine UNTIL I hook this cursed thing up to it and within minutes it goes black and never turns on again. Both were taken to the local computer shop and confirmed logic board damage and the technicians say it's not uncommon with cheap multi-function devices like these that have a power delivery passthrough (even though I hadn't been using the passthrough when they died) and advised I throw it away and never use it again as it is definitely what killed both my macbooks. As I mentioned I had bought two of these and the damage to both Macbooks was caused by the same one, they were bought a year apart and I wrote "Sus" on the one that killed the two macbooks. You can see in the photo they are mostly the same but the bottom one has clearer labeling. Obviously I'm not going to trust either of them but definitely don't use these if you have one that looks like the top one in my photo.

Tested on my laptop that is running Ubuntu Linux 22.04. It worked without any modification or setting necessary - was pleasantly surprised to see it work even during boot-time, without any need for any drivers/kernel compilation. Perfect product.

Bought this for my laptop, Its a great bit of kit as it allows me to extend my desktop to two screens while providing another USB-A slot for the addition of an external keyboard and mouse. Its the 6th different Benfei cable/accessory I've bought and as always its a quality product. This box became indispensable when my wife when started working on a project with a Macbook pro and needed to use an external monitor and keyboard/mouse. Did the trick, although on a PC, I can use both the VGA and HDMI connection to extend desktops over 2 screens, but the mac only extends to one, although it does duplicate the extended desktop if its connected to a VGA and a HDMI screen. That's not a fault of this box, but more of a MacBook thing as I don't think they can output to two external monitors.

I use this with my work laptop (Dell) to enable twin monitor use. Most of these type of units are rejected by the software installed by my employer but thjis particular one does work, is easily recognised and doesn't trigger the 'alien hardware' alert. Video qaulity is good and it allows all usb devices and charger to work at the same time. Brilliant bit of kit.
