This case has held up well! My husband is a mechanic and outside a lot, his phone has been through everything, including a wash cycle. He drops it often, it has been left on his truck as he drove off and fell to the road. The case has lasted about 3 years. Today, we are having to replace his case, but only because it has stretched and the buttons on the side of his phone don't work with it anymore. This case is awesome, that is why we are replacing it with the EXACT like of the original.

Super durable. The clips that hold it together and the flexible case that goes around it are all great. The piece that covers the charging port is as good as new. Had more expensive ones fall apart more quickly.

The case I ordered fit my phone well, I have no complaints. Other reviews brought up the charging port cover tearing off, you do have to be careful, or I could see that happening. I've had it a few weeks, dropped my phone, protected it well.

Pro and con: If you're searching for a solid protective case, look no further. This is closest to the sturdiest OtterBox but much less cost. The layers insulate the phone, yet the buttons still work easily. Access to the S-pen is a bit tricky and may improve as the case ages.This is also a con in that the case is much heavier and bulkier than I'm used to. Not easy to hold with small hands, which is why I returned mine.

"Easy to install"? LOL Sure, once you pry the three pieces apart, it is. (If the reviews here make you feel inadequate, see two YEARS worth of unanswered comments on the company's Facebook page. Trust that it's doable. Keep trying.)BUT, once you pry all 3 pieces apart with a knife or tiny makeshift crowbar and break three fingernails opening the 4 snaps, it's great. Seriously.Sturdy, attractive, nice choice of colors, good alignment with buttons and ports, good seal on charging port (important if you use in/around water).

I had the OtterBox defender before I bought this one and this is almost exactly the same. Obviously it's supposed to be and it's not bad at all especially if you compare prices. Came the next day I ordered it. Wish it had the holster but I'm still glad I got it!
