This is a must for any shade tree mechanic or even a pro! Accurate easy-to-use tool. I used it recently to figure out drill bit size for a project. Easy to carry but the only reason for four stars is the pocket clip is a little flimsy. But at the price I will buy another when I finally wear this out. Sure beats bringing a handful of sockets to the bolt to figure out the head size. Just never could judge the right size visually.

This thing is a time saver works quickly - no guesswork sizing fasteners and in my case has already paid for its self many times over - would call this inexpensive item a must for any tool bag..

I must be expecting too much from it or don't know how to use it. It is not accurate enough for me. I am accustomed to using micrometers - so not really fair for me to compare.

does exactly as it says. no more reading the little etched numbers or guessing which bit to use for the dowel.

Really cool product. Much sleeker than the standard plastic pieces of s***. I'm mildly concerned that the plastic strap (where the rubber meets the road) will either stretch or crack over time. I won't take a star away for my as yet unfounded concern.

I take this with me to the local hardware store to make sure I only buy what I need and that it's exactly the right part.
