Well worth trying.
My son bought be a jar of this after a trip to Georgia. It is a blend of 60% rock salt, and 40% spices - garlic, coriander, dill seeds, chilli, fenugreek, cumin seeds, and calendula flowers. The chilli comes through well and the other ingredients add a pleasant roundness to the flavour with the fenugreek and cumin being the most noticeable for me. Apparently, Georgians put this on almost everything in generous quantities but I found that a decent pinch or two was enough to complement flavours and add interest to savouries. I've not used it for cooking... perhaps I should as, theoretically, it would be excellent. Of all the specialist salts I've tasted, this is by far the best - it does not dominate or mask; it complements. Disclaimer: I have no commercial interest in this particular product and neither has anyone I know.
