Excellent addition for a rider with big hands
My original (BMW) heated grips were showing their age. WIth big hands, they were also somewhat uncomfortable on long rides. Highly regarded by fellow owners, and I agree 100%. The added diameter and soft but textured material are perfect.Installation is easy, just a little dilute soap solution sprayed while sliding them over the original grips. I was concerned that they would slip and rotate, but the next day (after the water evaporated) they are solid. Heated grip function is fine, takes just a bit longer to transfer through, no issues.

Very good grips
These grip work very well, easy to install, comfortable, cuts down vibration and is good for arthritis in the hands. Just a little soap on the inside and slip them over your old grips, couldn’t get much easier than that. I had to cut down the throttle side though. Just slip a socket inside the grip to where you want to cut it and use a razor blade and cut right next to the socket and you’ll have a nice clean straight cut

Good value, easy install
Great upgrade for $20. My stock scooter grips were crappy, soft gloves could grip them but my more protective hard leather gloves didn't grip well, causing hand fatigue on a half-hour commute. The texture of the grip puppies makes a huge difference, now I can simply roll my palm on the throttle for effortless control, without needing to squeeze with my fingers. The larger diameter is an improvement as well, for comfort and control. One thing to note: you may need to trim them to make sure you're not getting accidental cruise control. The puppies are just slightly longer than my throttle handle, so it was gripping the knob at the end of my bar and holding the throttle open. Had to take off a quarter inch, but even with that, install took only a few minutes. Couple drops of water-based lubricant and they slid right on. 5/5 product

They Work Well But Don’t Last Long
I’ve used both the genuine Grip Puppies and some cheaper alternatives. The difference is considerable, at least when new. The Grip Puppies are slightly thicker and a bit stiffer, but counterintuitively that actually makes them more effective. The material absorbs vibrations really well. The ends have a nice rounded finish.Despite their high price, they do deteriorate with use, which may also be affected by the material and texture of your gloves. I can get maybe a year out of a pair of these. However, I still think the benefits are worth the cost. I just consider them a consumable, like engine oil.Pro tip: Use hand sanitizer to help slide them over your grips. It dries quickly and has a bit of tackiness that keeps them in place.

Comfortable
Super comfortable and fit great. I hear a lot of customer issues happening during install and not sure if they are using soapy water on the handlebars before trying to slide them on but it made it very easy for me and no signs of tearing. I mean you still have to twist them back and forth or rotate them around in a circular motion to work them on but in total on two motorcycles it took me 10 minutes. And then I just trimmed off the excess.

Great quality! Not as hard to put on as some have said. They're worth the effort, though!
Great quality product. Fit perfect on my 2020 BMW R1250R. Installation was not as hard I had read about. I soaked the grips in hot water for about 10-15 minutes, put some diluted dishsoap around the inside of the grips, and installed them. I was using rubber gloves when I tried to put them on and was losing grip because of the soap. So, I got a dry microfiber rag and with that, was able to get the grip I needed and they went on, with some difficulty, but fairly quickly.I have large hands and these make the grips feel perfect, instead of like I'm riding a toy.

Comfort and safety, on the cheap.
These things are great. The increase in grip diameter relieves hand strain, and the foam is the perfect stiffness for comfort. They also prevent your hands from slipping when the rains come. These stay stationary on the grips while riding whether it rains or shines. Just a little Dawn soap and some water is all it takes to install them. (I cut mine to the perfect length before sliding them on)My concern was the impact they would have on heated grips, but they pass heat through just fine. They may slow down the heat transfer rate some, but they will still let your hands get quite toasty if your grips have the power to get hot.For this price, if you're not happy with them cut them off and throw them out, but once you try them I'll bet you leave them on.

Great feel, work with heated grips
Had these on my 2012 triumph tiger explorer 1200 primarily because I felt like the stock grips were too skinny. The feel of these is awesome and they stood up well to 8000+ miles of use before I sold the bike. They worked great with the heated grips, it maybe just took an extra minute for the heat to get all the way through the grips. Nothing noticeable though.Just bought another set for my new bike!
