Huge Capacity and Excellent Quality Stockpot
As an avid home chef, I'm always looking for high-quality cookware that can handle large batch cooking. This 12 quart stockpot from Cook N Home definitely fits the bill! I've been really impressed by its performance. The size is absolutely massive with a 12 quart capacity. I've used it for big batches of soups, stews, stocks, boiling pasta, and more. It's big enough to can tomatoes or make huge vats of sauce. Yet the overall stockpot is still a manageable size and weight when full. The stainless steel construction feels extremely sturdy and durable. It has an attractive high polished mirror finish. I also really like the thick aluminum disc layered in the bottom which provides excellent heat conduction and prevents hot spots. The pot heats up quickly and evenly thanks to the tri-ply stainless/aluminum/stainless body. It works great on all cooking surfaces including induction cooktops. I've even used it in the oven without issues since it's oven safe. The snug-fitting vented glass lid is a nice bonus to lock in heat and moisture. The loop handles are designed to stay cool which is helpful when pulling the heavy pot on and off the stovetop. I still use potholders out of habit. My only minor complaint is the pot itself can get a bit heavy when full of liquid or food. But that's to be expected for a stockpot this size.Cleaning is easy - foods don't stick too badly and a little Bar Keeper's Friend keeps the exterior shiny. It's also dishwasher safe which is convenient for such a large pot.Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this Cook N Home stockpot! The quality, size and performance are excellent for the price. If you need a big, sturdy stockpot for larger quantity cooking, I highly recommend giving this one a look.

Great for canning
Update 9/8/16 - I have had this canner for over a year now, and I still love it! I just spent three days canning 21 quarts of tomatoes, 12 quarts of spaghetti sauce, 9 pints of salsa, and 12 pints of pizza sauce. It worked so well through the whole process, and it still looks like new. I especially like how the glass lid lets me monitor how hard the water is boiling, and how the lid sits in the edge of the pan, so no water drips out onto the stove top. Well worth the investment!I have been canning for a few years now. The first canner I purchased said it was not for flat top ranges, however that was the only canner local stores had, so I purchased it. I used it a few years, but eventually it rusted, so I was on the lookout for something better and I found this. I love that you can use it on a glass top. I also like how the lid fits compared to my old canner. It has a tight fit. My old canner lid just sat on top as when the water boiled steam condensed on the lid and ran down the pot to the drive. I also love that the lid is glass so you can see how it is boiling without lifting the lid all the time. It is a little more expensive than the one I previously used, but not by much, and it is much higher quality! I have used it a few times and really like it. It is very sturdy and will last many years!

light!
This is an amazing pot and such a good size for making big batches of soup. Cleans up so easily. Glass lid fits so well and the rubber covered handles are great.

Very nice
I love the weight and the size of this pot. I have canned quart jars along with pints. I can use it to make a big pot of soup or sauce. The functionality is great and it is a good value for the money. It is very well made and heavy. I like the glass lid so you can see what is going on. The steam vent hole is a added plus. I highly recommend this pot.

Nice pot but rack has floppy handles.
This large canner pot has worked ok for my purposes, which so far have been processing jam and jelly, mostly 8 to 16 oz. jars, some 4 oz. It holds plenty of jars, more than one batch, and I only make one batch at a time.It is very heavy, especially when full of water. I like that it is stainless steel, has a smooth bottom, and fits on my glass top stove. I add some vinegar to the water to help minimize calcification of the pot, which helps for cleaning. Three things have been tricky. 1. The glass lid fits into the rim of the pot snugly, but when the rack is raised it holds up the lid so it is not not seated as well, just something to be aware of (see photo). 2. The rack, which is very sturdy steel, has handles which are too loose to stay up when it is lowered. The handles flop over on top of the jars, and it is very difficult to get them raised simultaneously out of the boiling water, to be able to grab them with hot pads to pull up the rack. I needed an extra hand. I solved this with strings tied to the handles (see photo). But it would be nice to have a better system. 3. It also would be nice if there were some graduation marks on the inside of the pot so I could more easily monitor and adjust water levels. But overall, compared to my (rusting out) old enamel ware pot this is a very big improvement.

Quite impressed with the quality.
I purchased this to replace my non-induction T-Fal 12qt stock pot pictured inside for size reference. I primary used that pot for water bath canning and it would hold 6 pint jars but with no room to spare. And I had to use it on a 8” hot plate which took forever to heat. This pot is induction ready and I brought 6 qts of water to a rolling boil in 13 minutes on our induction cooktop, it has ample room for 6 pint jars. The bottom is very heavy and really holds the heat. It is well finished and the quality is every bit as good as the pot it’s replacing. It’s not quite All-Clad quality in that the side walls of the pot are not 3 layer but it will serve the same purpose. Incredible value for the quality. Keep in mind the bottom really holds the heat so if you are making a stew or similar, don’t go above medium heat, just give it a little time to get there and it will hold it at a constant temperature.
