This is after 2 weeks of use! I have been a long time ,meaning over 20 years of nail biting. Most of the time it is when I don’t notice it. This nail polish has helped SO MUCH, especially with my “unconscious” hand to mouth challenge. This has been a huge reminder that I am biting and has helped so much.I would say, you definitely have to keep the coats on! I wash my hands a lot, I work out, and I scratch my head and to apply this at least twice if not more a day BUT I don’t think two coats are necessary. I put two coats on each nail the first time I used this and I was very much PUNISHED for putting my hand to the mouth. The taste lingered on my lips for at least two days and it made everything taste HORRIBLE. Talk about learning my lesson. This stuff does NOT taste good.

I don’t ever write reviews but it felt necessary for this product. Quick background, i have been biting my nails since i am able to remember (im now 21). My parents told me i always had my hands in my mouth as a kid and then as i got older it changed to biting my nails. My mom used to put hot sauce on my nails, I’ve had teachers call me out for it, I’ve had doctors and dentist lecture me about how bad it can be and nothing would change my mind. I’ve tried at least 10 different products since i started my 8th grade year and none of them worked. All of the products were either not bitter enough and i would bite my nails anyways or the taste would wash off as soon as i got my hands wet. This is the only product i have found that actually has an unbearable taste and stays on after washing my hands. I’m about a week in, the first day i did the dishes after dinner and took a shower, after i put them in my mouth and the taste was still awful. Obviously it takes time to see improvement but I can already tell that I have no desire to put my hands near my mouth. I really thought that this was a habit that i was never going to be able to kick but after trying this product i think it’s going to be a lot easier than what i thought. The only con of this product is that the taste gets on everything but it’s definitely worth it if it’s going to break my habit.

This works great for me! Nastiest taste that I eat cashew nuts with a spoon! 😆 If you bite your nails because it’s flimsy and tears like paper. Buy OPI Repair mode polish too. It will strengthen your nails while you don’t bite them too. I started using both products over a week ago and am proud of the nails I have growing out! I can’t wait to see more improvements next week. I will do a follow up in a week or 2 with pictures. I did a positive review on the OPI Repair mode too.

My granddaughter says it works good for her. She hates the taste of it. It helps her not bite her nails.

I have been biting my nails since I was a child. I can 100% say that this product works! I can promise you that the taste of this will steer you to not do it anymore. I can’t say enough great things about this! Thank you!

This product is for my husband & works good

Ok so I put this on my fingers once and wore it till it came off... No reapplication. It lasted I would say maybe a week or more. The taste is terrible which is good cause it kept my fingers out of my mouth but unfortunately, anytime you eat anything with your fingers or touch your mouth with your fingers, you can taste it. It's so annoying that I eventually picked what was left off my nails and did not bite my nails from then on... So it works! I only tried it after first trying it on my toddler who sucked her thumb constantly and was starting to effect her teeth and after the first day did not put her thumb back in her mouth! My only regret is that I bought the 2 pack and now I have one bairly used and one unopened.

This product does not wash off (which most others do). You do need to reapply each day for a couple of days. You can then do every few days or so. This product soaks into the nails as they grow. If you stop using it and then bite your nail, the gross taste is imbedded in your nail, which is a good reminder to not bite your nails.I have been a nail biter for many years and when I use this product, I am able to stop my nail-biting habit. This is the only product that has worked for me.Also, when my daughter was around 3 and had a thumb-sucking habit, I used this with her and within two days, she stopped sucking her thumb. When she would attempt to put her thumb in her mouth she would say "yucky" and then take it out of her mouth immediately.
