Traeger BAC523 Pellet Sensor, Black

Wish I would have added this to my Traeger Pro 575 sooner. It is so much easier than worrying about checking on the hopper to see if the pellets are out, especially on those long smoking meats. It works Great & accurate super easy install. Another quality and handy product from Traeger.

1. Great in winter (when you go through more pellets); 2. Awesome when tied into your app; 3. I can't rate the flavour (as it suggested) as I attached it and never licked it. I would buy it again if my Traeger was struck by lightening or stolen by the neighbourhood squirrels...

Perfekte Ergänzung für den Smoker. So gehen einem bei langen Grilljobs (z.B. pulled Pork) nicht so schnell und unerwartet die Pellets aus.

If you're doing a long cook, or even if you're just away from the grill, this is really helpful for knowing how your pellet level is doing. You get a nice & clear percentage display in the grill status page of the app. So if it's getting low you can go top up. Connecting the device is really easy - there's a connector hidden away behind a little plastic cover. Remove the cover, connect up the cable and then screw the sensor in place. Firing up the grill then gives you an option to calibrate the sensor which you do with an empty hopper. Nice and simple!

This arrived from the USA 3 days before expected and was £15 cheaper than I could buy it in the UK, brilliant. Fitted in minutes and hooked up to the Wifire App. the device was seen straight away and registered an empty hopper, used my hand to check the level readings, seem fairly accurate, will know more after a long cook. Certainly read 100% when I refilled the hopper. Looks good in situ.
