Very soft & very cute!
Doc is a 14 pound, mini wired-hair dachshund. His back is about 15 inches from the middle of his neck to the base of his tail. His chest is about 16 inches deep. I ordered him the X-Large and it fit him great.I ordered this for his birthday photos and expected to throw it into a drawer afterwards. But, this thing is SO SOFT, and seems to be pretty warm. Instead of putting a sweater on him this winter, I think I will use this to put on him when we go for walks, and for days he is cold.It is super cute, and I am extremely happy with my buy. This was a steal. Just remember to measure your pup before you buy, this will save you the hassle of getting something that doesn't fit properly.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS
This item is hot garbage! First off it’s WAY too small I ordered a large and the one I received either was the wrong size or their idea of large wouldn’t fit a full grown Chihuahua, that’s ridiculous. Second, it looks very uncomfortable for your furry friend it does not stretch the way they advertise it and it has 4 sleeves that you need to put your dog’s legs through which some people might think it’s funny or cute but the animal would not agree with you because of how poor and unstretchable the material is. Overall this is just a really bad product I could not find a single good thing to post about it. Very disappointed, refunded!

Way too small!
Good quality and super cute! I just wish it fit. For reference I posted a picture to represent the size/ scale..this is what a size Medium looks like. My dog is 17lbs and we could hardly get it over his head. :(

Order one size larger than chart says
I ordered a Small for my 11 lb shih zu mix and it was way too small had to exchange for the Medium which fits perfectly. Nice stretch. Material is thick, warm so not recommended if you aren't in a warmer region.

Cute runs small
Super cute on my dachshund for Halloween! Definitely runs VERY small, we bought an XL for him and he’s about 16 pounds.

Super cute costume!! The sizing is definitely off though. As other reviewers said that it runs small - I ordered a size large for my 8-pound, 11-month old Shih Tzu puppy, and it fits perfectly!Length is important as there are legs in the costume too.

Inaccurate Sizing Today
Very soft and adorable costume but the sizing was extremely off. I purchased this costume in a medium for my 13 pound Mini Goldendoodle puppy. I measured him to make sure this would fit but upon arrival, it was extremely small. I also have a 7 pound shih tzu, this fit him but the arms were slightly tight still.I requested a refund but never heard back from the individual seller. I do not see this as Amazon's fault, just the individual company. I am pretty sad about it but due to the inexpensive price, I will chalk this one up as a miss.

Think BIG
This costume is SO CUTE!!! Unfortunately it left little chunks of the green fabric everywhere I put it, which is only an annoyance, but the reason for the star rating is because it didn't fit. By measurements and history my puppy wears Size Small but this was way smaller than small! Now she will have to be herself for Halloween. 😕
