Does half the job. Which isn't enough.
This is the fourth bluetooth tracker I've tried in the last few days and the fourth failure. At first the device seemed very promising: It paired quickly with the app (which, oddly, is called "Small Lovely" rather than "Legacy PRO") and then maintained contact at well over 100 feet outside. However, like the other devices I've tried (the ones that actually managed to pair, that is), once the tag dropped out of range the app was unable to find it again in anything like a short time, even after I brought the phone (Note 4) within inches from the tag. At about 40 feet away indoors it didn't reconnect in half an hour, which is a completely unreasonable duration. It finally did reconnect some time after I put the tracker right next to the phone, but even that didn't happen right away, it took over 10 minutes (after 10 minutes I stopped paying close attention, but I know it took more than that). That's pretty much useless if you're trying to cover a reasonable-sized area looking for the tag to show up. Nobody wants to wait in one spot for a long time, then try another location and wait there for a long time, etc. You would never know if you were in the wrong spot, vs. you just needed to wait longer. Maybe some firmware / app changes would fix this, but for now this seems unusable for re-finding something once it's lost or misplaced. Too bad. I would think that if it can "track" out to 100 feet right after pairing, it ought to be able to reconnect quickly from the same distance. I'll keep looking for a tracker that can do this.

Simply Put, It Doesn't Work...
This idea for this product is great, the execution of that idea on this product is terrible. The only reason I have given it two stars is that the hardware is technically perfectly functional. The problem here is that to get any function out of it, you must download an app called Small Lovely, which is a barely working piece of software turned into a non-functional android port. Don't take my word for it, read the 155 reviews (at the time of this posting) that have rated it an average of two starts, with the most common complaints being that it crashes constantly and does not run as a service. [...] This means even if it did work, you would have to have this running in the application layer constantly for it to work, and since it crashes so often, even that is not feasible. Due to this, you would actually be buying a square of plastic that makes beeping sounds in your pocket when your keys accidentally turn it on and off. If that is the kind of product you are looking for, then look no further. This product with multiple different names and third party non-functional software is for you.

Doesn't Stay Connected.
I purchased two of these. One for myself and one for my fiancé because we were losing our keys quite frequently and wanted a simple solution. It worked the first time we connected it and I tried burying my keys under some pillows to see if it would work and if the sound was loud enough. All seemed good. Then after a few days I noticed when I had my keys right in front of me the app would not connect to the device. I thought maybe it was only mine that was defective but my fiance's was too. We are returning them for a refund and going to try buying tiles. They are only $5 more and seem to be more reliable based on reviews.

only function that would be useful would be if this was with an item that ...
You had to be very close to it to find it. Unless you are in the same room it did not work. only function that would be useful would be if this was with an item that was going to stay with phoen and it would alert you when they were not together anymore

Camrea remote works if you figure out trick, phone finder a virtual bust
I ordered this hoping this might help as a phone finder for a forgetful 13 year old that sits things down all over...and have the ringer off to boot. I had read that this device would find the phone and chirp even if the ringer was off. And as i suspected, it does not. When the ringer is on vibrate, the phone buzzed, no sound as wished. The instruction were not great, and set up was not as easy as many say it is. The only thing that seemed ok was the camera remote...noting that you had to go to the camera via there app and not from the camera icon. Once i figured that out, remote photo did ok. Would give it 2.5 because it does half of what is expected. Also, i should have worried noting many of the positive reviews wrote an "honest" review in return for an item discount. Not me. Thank goodness the item wasn't more expensive.Update 4/25/16. There is another brand of similar product, the Nut, that I have found that at least rings the phone via blutooth volume and not via ringer when the button is held to locate the phone, although it lacks some of the features this item has, as well as it has to be in blutooth range and doesn't always pick up signal. a wash either way.

Doesn't work as expected
It keeps loosing the connection and have to reset up. So when I needed to find my item it needed the resetup which requires pressing on the button and that defeated the purpose of finding lost item.
