Great decoration and functions well.
Good construction, solid, and the decorations are nicely placed and executed. I was a little bummed that the color was so dull but then I rubbed it with Murphy Oil and it transformed it into an even nicer looking box.

Treasure Hunt!!
We bought this chest to do a treasure hunt with our three year old. It's a beautiful chest and can be used for decor. We used it to put treasure in and burried it in our back yard for our daughter to find!! Such a fun thing and a memory we will always have!!

This is a great mini chest! It is much more red in person but I don't mind that. I love how deep it is so it'll actually hold what I need it to.

Beautifully Authentic Looking “Pirate Chests.”
We recently remodeled our bedroom with an old-world nautical theme, and I wanted to add that same flare to my dressing table. These beautiful little boxes did not disappoint! They are perfect for my overflow of makeup and hair products, but I’m sure there are 1,001 equally amazing uses!

Cheaply made
I shouldn't have been, but I was surprised by how cheaply made it is.Not so bad if it's just going to be sitting in a shelf or something, but I wouldn't expect much out of it if you intend to actually use it. The bottom is very thin and flimsy.
