Nutricost DHEA 50mg, 240 Capsules - Gluten Free, Soy Free, Non-GMO, Supplement

So I bought this item in a combination of supplements. Yohimbine, DHEA, and L-Arginine as a "natural" way to address ED. I've tried a few others but this combination works after 1.5-2wks. This is my 2nd week now. I've noticed that I wasn't losing rigidity when changing positions. I noticed a "healthy appearance" overall. Trying to be politically correct here. A noticeable difference in energy levels and stamina. However, the combination is working for me and I am actually impressed. I wanted to go from a 3 o'clock to a 1 o'clock, but right now it's at 2 o'clock. Perhaps continuing will get me to something between 1 and 2 o'clock. 56yrs old and in higher than average fitness.

I have noticed an increase in my energy levels since taking this supplement. For some reason, I had ordered the 50 mg dose, but received the 100 mg capsules and didn't even noticed until recently. My doctor told me 100 mg was too much to take all at once. He recommended 25 mg once or twice a day, or take the larger dose every other day or every third day. Your doctor may recommend differently and you should consult him or her before taking these. According to another source: Aging leads to the natural decline of many essential hormones, including dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA). As the most abundant circulating hormone in the body, DHEA is responsible for more than 150 metabolic functions, involved in circulatory and immune health, body weight and lean muscle mass, libido, mood, and numerous other critical process. It will stimulate the body to produce more testosterone and/or estrogen, among other things.

And apparently they get absorbed well because when we did blood work on my husband, his DHEA level was too high and he had to go off of them.

Wow! All I can say is that anyone who is seeking energy and a more positive outlook on life should try this. I am 48 years old, have had a lot of seemingly “bluer days” than normal in the last 2 years and after just taking 1 of these capsules I feel more positive, energetic and “in the present” if that makes sense. I do recommend taking them in the morning as it gives you almost too big of a burst of energy. Although when my husband first took one it made him a little jittery (he’s an insulin-dependent Diabetic) and it was at night so he was worried about not being able to sleep. He fell asleep fairly quickly that night and he said he woke up “ready to tackle the world”.I bought a DHEA book 10+ years ago written by an MD and it talked about case studies, etc. It was discovered close to when Melatonin was discovered. But DHEA never really got the attention that Melatonin got. I’m just happy I found it!

This is not as good as other brands I’ve tried. But not bad for the price
