This gadget does exactly what it said it would do, exactly as it said it would do it. We use it for taping packages and presents and it works great. Tape length is adjustable and if you hold down the tape advance button it will feed tape out until you let go of the button. Pull up on the tape to cut it off and a new piece of tape is advanced. This is like a "third hand" when taping packages. Very handy.

I was glad to see the blade cuts well. Much better than the cheaper ZCM0300 which didn't cut as good. However to get a good cut, you have to whip the tape upwards. The problem is that the weight of the machine does not support the pulling of the tape. So the machine will skip. Three D batteries can help add weight, however i'm waiting on D adapters for my AA rechargeable batteries which is going to be much lighter. It essentially needs more weight, or somehow you need to clamp this dispenser to the ground. Another option is to hold the machine with your other hand as you pull. Another small little disappointment is how it creases my outputted masking tape. Perhaps using a poly based tape would prevent this? With no issues the automated tape dispensing works. Allowing you to easily switch between small, medium, large sizes, and a hold down manual button.

This is a really awful waste of money. The feed is erratic and the dispenser is far too light. It doesn't really cut the tape for you and it moves around so you basically have to use two hands just to get a piece of tape. A heavy duty manual dispenser is actually much easier to use than this lightweight garbage.

I guess it works, but the pulling of the tape and cutting operation is a wrestling match. The unit needs additional weight, so it doesn’t bounce across the table, when trying to rip-pull-cut the tape, with the required wrist snapping action.

Tape rolls downwards and sticks to the body of the machine. Also, minimum pre-cuts.

I love a good gadget that does what it’s supposed to. This does just that. Extremely convenient. Purchased this for the office, works so well I will be purchasing one for home for wrapping presents.

This dispenser is well built and functions well overall. There are 2 small issues: 1) it has a tendency for the tape to fold under and stick to the case when using long lengths of tape, and 2) I wish there was a length setting between the longest and the next longest. Overall the unit is well worth the price. There isn't much choice of dispensers for home use and this one seems to have the best price/performance ratio. One major complaint: Amazon has this unit labelled very poorly. Reading the link, you might think it's for an AC adapter for the dispenser, not the dispenser itself. Had a Royal automatic tape dispenser in the past that worked for years but was quite noisy. This one is much quieter and overall just seems more solid and well made. Works very well each and every time with no jams or slipping. Great unit.

Das, was am Tesaabrollen am nervigsten ist, nämlich das Abreissen, leistet dieser Spender nicht. Das Band wird zwar automatisch gefördert, aber nicht geschnitten. Ich brauchte das Gerät für ein Experiment und musste es zerlegen. Die Mechanik ist minderwertig und weitgegend aus Platik. FAZIT: Zweckfrei und absolut überteuert.
