My First Thanksgiving

I really love Tomie DePaola's art and books. This was perfect for my 2s class to introduce the concept of Thanksgiving and our American traditions (like handprint turkeys!). Very relatable and sweet for my students. Exceeded expectations

I love Tomie DePaola's illustrations. Knowing more now than we used to about the history of the Native Americans and the Pilgrims, I would not buy this book again.

I have gifted this book to grand babies and now Great grand babies. I'm a big Tomie dePaola fan. Bright beautiful illustrations, concise words that tell all that's needed to be said.

I just wasn’t a big fan of the pictures. It wasn’t my style but the story was fine.

Bought this for my 7 month old grandson. He and I had a great time reading his book on his first Thanksgiving. So happy that I bought it! Cherished memories!

Cute, but very short. This is good for very young children and just to get the main, basic idea of Thanksgiving across. If you’re looking for something accurate or educational, this is not the book for you. If you just want something cute and colorful, go for it!

収穫感謝に関する絵本って、探してもなかなかないんですよね。これは、シンプルで子どもに読み聞かせる（日本語で説明しながらですが）のにちょうど良かったです。
