Heavy duty indeed!
This is a super heavy duty 120VAC cord for high power computers such as rack mounted servers. It is longer than the average cable and has rugged, molded-on connectors at both the plug and receptacle end. I inspected the cable closely and even cut it to see a cross section as shown in the photos I uploaded.Pros:** The strain relief moldings at each end of the cord are well attached. I could not get them to come apart from the cord insulation even with severe stress and bending.** The outer insulation is tough. It seems to me it will definitely withstand scraping against the sharp sheet metal found in a rack. I had to expend some effort to cut through it using a utility knife.** The inner insulation is also tough. After removing the outer jacket, I cut and stripped the internal conductors. The individual insulation for each conductor took some effort to remove using my contractor-grade wire stripper tool.*** The 14 AWG wire is made of a lot of strands. I am sorry I didn't take a photo. It is not quite like Monster speaker wire (i.e. a bunch of copper hair), but it is made up of a large number of strands.** The ground wire is of the same gauge and quality as the two conductor wires.** The plug prongs are nicely finished and have bright plating that appears to be of high quality and substantial thickness, but, of course, that is hard to measure without lab equipment. Looks durable, albeit one typically does not insert and remove this kind of cable a lot.** I measured the cable and it is pretty much dead on 10 feet long. I've had other cables from different vendors that were not so precise. You need to know that this cable is also not LONGER than 10 feet. If you are looking for something that has a little slop in the long direction, this cable doesn't have it. It's precisely made. So, super durable, nicely priced for what it is, long enough to reach directly to the wall from your rack mounted heat source :-)This is the way to go.

High Quality Cable But Price Is Somewhat High
This is a very high quality power cable that should be able to handle most computer needs. It is rated for 15 amps which is far more than most computers use even at full load. The power supply that I had this connected to was much less than 15 amps so I can't say how this will perform at full load, but at around 10 amps this did not even get warm to the touch. The only real downside is that this is pretty expensive for just a cable even if it is excellent quality.

Ordered this for a SecretLab rising desk
Desk came with the standard 7-8' cord, which was more than I needed. This shorter cable was the answer

Nice.
This will do nicely. No doubt it will carry the current it claims. Very thick cable. Flexible. The C19 plug fits nice and snug for my Krell amplifier. The wall plug is also snug. Just looks and feels like a quality cable.
