I have a small (but powerful) air compressor to keep the tires on my Jeep and tractor at the right pressure. But my air compressor was meant to be portable and to work off the vehicle's cigarette lighter. I wanted to plug into my garage and have a cord long enough to reach my vehicles outside the garage, and this was the perfect solution. The cord length on this is not overly long, but combined with the cord on the compressor, it works perfectly. Seems ruggedly built and a good value for the money.

The adapter works great, but a word of caution if you are using this with an outlet in the bed of a pickup truck… The spring loaded outlet cover on my truck has quite a bit of tension and rests on any cord while plugged in. That eventually caused the cord on this adapter to go bad, so I had to order a new one. From now on I will bungee the truck’s outlet cover so it doesn’t rest on the cord.

This works exactly as I hoped it would. Powers my refrigerator at campsites when 110 volt power is available saving my car battery.

good to use anywhere especially in a garage or basement

Only had this converter for about a month but working well so far. Seems to be a good product.

Our AC in the house needed a part that took a couple of weeks to come in. I Purchased this to run an Arctic Air 12 volt Cooler Air Conditioner I used in my plane. Worked great!

15a and 180 w power supply was enough to power up an inflatable paddle board pump from a 120 power supply

This is a lot more heavy duty unit than I though it would be. Delivery was quick and painless. So far the unit works great and does as it describes.

I chose the 30AMP option and it works great for appliances that have that kind of draw, like the air pump.

I bought this so I could plug in a paddleboard inflator to a regular socket (110V AC). The inflator(12V DC) is max 10 Amp and this converter is 15 Amp so it's working well.
