Information found nowhere else
As practicing astrologers, we discovered a gold mine in the back of this book. The only section we haveever seen that elucidates the meanings of the transit South and North Node eclipses conjunct or oppose allnatal planets! The front of the book is great for all levels - but this back section is worth the whole cost. Wow.

A real achievement
I've been waiting for this book for years. I've known that eclipses are powerful events. But there was little reliable guidance out there on how a particular eclipse may affect me and the people around me. This bool explains the impact of eclipses in both simple ways, for novices in astrology like me, and it includes materials for the pro. It is really important to me that the author is a trusted source. Judith Hill is, with several books publsihed for professional astrologers. And I like the title, because that is just the book I wanted.

Great Information Re: Eclipses, But...
This book could have received 5 stars, since a majority of the technical information Ms. Hill provided was awesome. I know whereof I speak, since I am also an astrologer and have been working with eclipses and other types of transits for several decades. So I knew that she knew what she was talking about. One of the two problems I had is that the book was not well written; that is, it wasn’t proofed/edited, so there were numerous distracting (and confusing, if you’re not an astrologer and don’t know what she’s talking about in the first place!) errors. The second problem or ‘error’ is that she left out a crucial piece of what I believe is a further definition for one of the planets and its delineation in a certain life area. In fact, a SIGNIFICANT piece of descriptive information. Since this is a traditional meaning, I find it difficult to understand why it was omitted. Because it is so significant it makes me wonder how she didn’t catch it...unless, of course, she has decided that this particular topic does not belong with this planet? But then, it IS a major area of interest for many individuals (not to mention, a major area of life for just about everyone) and is typically one of the first things clients ask about when requesting a reading. In regard to this, however, after reading the whole book I was still unable to locate this information under the traits and descriptions of any other planet. It just wasn’t there. And while there was a related topic under another of the planets, this is not anywhere close to the same as the definition of this topic under the previous planet mentioned. The reason this could be a problem is that many who contact an astrologer for a reading typically do so to understand THIS area of their life better, more so than just about any other area.Oh, and I will leave it up to the reader to determine what that topic and the planet are. While this could have just been my imagination, I don’t think it was. I read through every part of this book numerous times and just could not locate this information. Astrologers will know pretty much off the bat if I just missed something. But, again, I don’t think I did.Maybe Ms. Hill will update this book? It IS a good book. But this one glaring error could be a problem for laypersons who are not aware of the significance of its lack. While astrologers might be able to work around it by supplying this additional traditional definition, this kind of error can cause an astrologer, in particular, to look elsewhere for the information they require.

Judith Hill is like no one else writing about astrology
Judith Hill is like no one else writing about astrology. She has taken my knowledge to new, unforeseen, depths. This book is written with "just-in-case-you're-a-beginner" explanations, but will still please the advanced student with knowledge you can't find anywhere else.

I liked this book and use it at Eclipse times
Good book and I use it at Eclipse times. The author gives you information about Eclipses in signs and how they manifest based on your Sun sign or Rising sign. I got some good information here. I think it's the best book on Eclipses that I've read so far.

Eclipses not explained
Eclipses not looked at in any depth. It is very general and you do not feel you have come out with information you did not know before. The only redeeming feature is list of elipses at the back!
