Mother Earth Products Freeze Dried Corn, Super Sweet, 5 Oz

This is really good. Bought to use in a recipe but it makes a really delicious snack straight from the contaainer.

I put these in lettuce salads with various vegetables, spices, dressings etc and eat it in real thin pita pockets. You can taste the corn and it really adds depth of flavor. I have also added them to soups and ramens before. Very handy and very tasty!

I saw a Cooking Channel program that had these in a recipe and I decided to see if I could find them. Of course I did on Amazon Amazon and they are absolutely to die for they are so unique and so interesting and a wonderful addition to any salad or dish that you may have you be surprised how good they are

I bought this, hoping it would be like the corn that you find in salad kits. Well, it’s similar but it is not exact. I am hoping that this will work better and possibly in Ramen or soups. Overall, it has a good taste.

I grind up this freeze-dried corn to make cookies and cakes, and it's always so tasty! Make sure to remove the desiccant packet before dumping the contents in your food processor 🥲

I bought this Mother Earth freeze dried corn via Subscribe and Save after searching for non GMO corn options.A while back, we tried this, Natierra Nature's All Foods Freeze Dried Foods, Sweet Corn, 2.3 Ounce and went through it super fast as it was very tasty. Unfortunately, for the amount you get, it's not cheap. Comparatively, this Mother Earth corn is a much better value (at it's current price).I tossed some into my spiralized zucchini dish yesterday (sauteed) and it came out tasting as fresh and wonderful as the real deal. I didn't add any water to attempt what the product description refers to for rehydrating either.My husband was surprised when I told him it was freeze dried. I've placed it towards the back of our pantry because I have a feeling when he tries it, it'll become a snack that'll be gone before we know it, haha.Super yummy eaten plain, with a light, crunchy, and sweet (but not too sweet) flavor. I think it would be good mixed in with trail mix but won't likely do it for the reason listed above. I bought this to add to ramen, and even after completely finished with the cooking and eating the noodles, the corn was still way too tough. I tried adding to some soup I was making on the stove, so it had an opportunity to cook a while, and it was still very firm and chewy. At the risk of TMI, it even left strands in my teeth i had to floss out. A simple rehydration is not enough. The flavor was ok; the texture was just too leathery.I will pass on this brand next time.

This product tastes great and makes a great snack. I ordered the corn to be used in the Corn and Blueberry Sheet Cake recipe from milk bar all about cake. I followed the recipe and even ordered new baking sheets to make sure I was using the correct size. Admire the recipe but DO NOT MAKE IT! It is a waste of time and money. The batter looked like the recipe description but see attached picture for what happened in the oven. The recipe doesn’t seem to have been tested for the home kitchen.
