Furniture Clinic Wood Stain | Teak | Water Based | Fast Drying, Low Odor, & Non-Toxic | for Indoor & Outdoor Furniture and More | Multiple Finishes | (17oz / 500ml)

Tried this stain as my first water based wood stain. The color is beautiful and very little product needed. Quick drying, odorless, easy to apply and clean up, beautiful results. I've added pictures of 2 of my wood burned art pieces and I love how the stain reflects the wood grain and enhances its beauty better than any oil stain I have used.

Added a pine shelf to our teak wall unit and this stain helped me make a perfect match. You cannot tell the shelf was not a part of the original unit. It is super easy to use and dries very quickly.

Ordered the “teak” color and included some before and after pictures of the chair I used it on. It worked pretty well, says to wipe the excess paint off after letting it soak in for a minute but I just used a decent amount with a brush and let it dry as is because wiping it made it too light. Wish there was a color a little darker than teak but not as dark as the next available color. It worked to cover the discoloration of the chair from being used over time, and some nail polish remover spots that discolored it too. It arrived with some color leaked out so it was stuck to another package which was kind of annoying, but that’s okay. Would recommend.

So, the color could be a slight shade redder/yellower (word?) to be considered walnut. It's more of a rustic walnut. Having said that, it went on very well, and my barn doors look fantastic.Also, some have complained that it's watery... It is stain. Not paint. It's supposed to be watery. That's the point. It seeps into the wood, "staining it". A think paint would not seep in, and therefore simply "coat" the wood. Like, paint is supposed to. But this is stain. If I could give it 6 stars to make up for the poor reviews from those who are unaware of what they were purchasing, I would. But alas, all I can do hopefully put some minds at ease by clarifying. Stain is watery, and meant to seep into the wood while still being able to see the grain. Paint is thick and covers the wood. Stain=watery=good.Applies very easy using a staining pad or small towel. Be sure to put down plastic while you work. It's stain. It stains stuff. Also wear gloves.

Creating a table for my workshop and decided to stain it and then seal it. Used this stain and it was only one coat and looked amazing. Was dried (and not tacky/sticky) to the touch in just an hour.

Didn't soak in the wood well

I am amazed that this product has so many good reviews. I throughly sanded and prepped 3 different projects and followed the directions exactly. The stain just sits on top of the wood, and the stain that does penetrate is blotchy and uneven. I’ve never used a stain that stains this poorly. I’ve had to apply 15-20 coats to get the same effect of only 1-2 coats from a traditional water based stain from the hardware store. Even after wiping it down and letting it cure, about 40% of the stain just wipes off 24 hours later when wiping it with a damp cloth. Amazon needs to pull this product. Wish I hadn’t waited past my return period to test this out. Money and more importantly a ton of my time completely wasted.

We used this to change color of the bed frame from a brown to a mahogany/ walnut finish. This wood stain worked perfectly- it was easy to apply with a brush, in thin multiple coats. The stain dries off quickly. We used one coat of the Furniture clinic mahogany stain with one coat of the walnut finish (topped it at the end with same brand beeswax.) Very happy with the product.

En realidad el color roble oscuro no lo he usado todavía, aunque sí la misma marca en el color Palo Rosa, que me ha dado muy buen resultado ya que lo necesitaba para oscurecer una mesa y ha quedado muy bien.

Facilísimo de aplicar

Used it to paint the wooden frame of my coffee table. The original colour was a bit off and more yellow-ish that I would have liked. This paint was great! Very easy to use, and the final result definitely worth the effort. The table now matches the rest of my furniture, the Teak colour is great!It needs to be applied a couple of times to get a richer colour, but the one bottle I got was more than enough for what I needed. Very easy to use, and easy to remove as you are working in case you do a mistake. Once dried, very stable, it’s quite robust in quality, it’s been a few months since I painted the wood, and it still holds very nicely. Overall very happy :)
