Refills for tub
I've been using these fish food pellets for several years now, and have previously reordered the tub. However I then found that it was possible to buy the pellets 'loose', so since I already have a collection of the tubs that's how I'm now going to purchase them. By buying two packs you get almost as much as in a tub, but at half the price.Our fish seem to love these so I have no doubts about the food itself, although they don't eat that much at this time of year (midwinter) anyway.

Weight ?? 1.kg equals 2.5lt
Why is'nt there a standardisation of product weight here? I have weighed the product and find that 1Kg equals 2.5 Litres. This Extra Select product is sold by Amazon with** either** Litres or Kilograms on the label which is very misleading. So just to clarify what the manufacturers fail to show !!! I have weighed the product and find that I kg = 2.5 litres, now the current price for I.kg bag is £8.14 and the 5 litre tub is currently just £9.39, the tub obviously contains 2Kg. TWICE the amount of the bag !! Maybe selling in both weights is meant to be confusing and encourages buying the very poor value 1.kg bag when for a FURTHER £1.25 YOU GET DOUBLE THE AMOUNT in a 5 litre tub !! I have used this product for years and found it very good, I purchased a 1.kg bag this week and was shocked by it's small size, put it into an empty 5.lt tub, the tub was only half full, there seems to be an apparent lack of transparency here, deliberate or otherwise. With the current cost of living it's not at all acceptable to be ripped off.
