I thought I was purchasing a product called the "Bug Bite Thing", which works wonderfully. I have given so many to family and friends who were grateful. Not sure why I got on the wrong item, but it definitely does not work the same, and in fact does not work at all. AND they will not let you return it!!!!! REMEMBER...Bug Bite Thing WORKS.

Makes a difference in recovery time. I always get big red splotches from mosquito bites during the summer but these sucking tools help a lot to recover faster. I use this tool then spray the site with hyperchluorous acid for a speedier recovery.

I bought this for relief from the outrageous number of itchy mosquito bites I've been getting after all our much-needed rain (I live in Southern California). This cleverly designed device (easily switches between small and larger bite widths) works well . . . IF I can get it directly positioned over the bite and exert the required pressure to create good suction. Not always easy! Sometimes a bite is located where I can't quite reach or see it clearly, and other times it is difficult to exert the required pressure using my non-dominant (left) hand, if the bite in on my right side, or while pressing against someplace soft a like a thigh. All in all, a good tool to have in your arsenal against aggravating bug bites but perhaps not the only one you'll need, especially if you live alone. BTW, this does not work instantly; give it 20 minutes or so to calm the itch.

I am looking forward to trying this product out during the summer. It does not have the strongest suction so multiple uses at once are recommended by the manufacturer. I do wish I had been more careful in reading the return policy as there are no returns allowed. My bad but a cheap gamble of this doesn't work.

These bug bite tools are so clutch. I have had one in my hiking bag now I wanted to buy one for each kid's backpack for summer camp as they were getting bit and wanted instant relief. They get a bite and take out the bug bite suction and it really gets that venom out. We have even tried the next day and although not as great as if it's done somewhat closer to the bite time, it still helps with the itching and inflammation. My one daughter has a huge sensitivity to bug bites so this helps tremendously without having to resort to creams or medication.*PROS: Instant relief. Natural.*CONS: None so far.

I was a little disappointed as they just didn't seem to have very good suction. They don't work near as well as the ones my daughter-in-law had let me try.

I am allergic to mosquitos. If I can get to the bite soon after getting bit by the mosquitos, my reaction is much less. I bought 3 of these to have at home, in my car and my purse.
