You learn something new every day. It has a lot of great info, many of which I was never familiar with at first. It really upsets me when there is nothing done about these injustices to the Indigenous people. I hope we are making some progress.

Came in great shape! Great book, no complaints

I like the alphabetical format and inclusion of some little known but important facts. One is the article about Birch Bark Scrolls. This article mentioned some written symbols of the Ojibwa tribe. I also liked that this dictionary included First Nations tribes for all of North America including Canada where I live. One small thing I haven't seen though in this dictionary is that I couldn't find any reference to The Smithsonian Institution and their earlier collecting articles relating to First Nations people including in the American west and that the Smithsonian Institution has many of these articles stored and viewable online at their Museum of the American Indian or some similiar name. Overall though a very informative and well organized reference about Native Americans.

I love The Element Encyclopedia Books so much! Looking to complete the set :) So far i have Native American, Vampires, Ghosts and Hauntings, Secret signs and symbols, Birthdays, 1000 spells, Magical Creatures, and secret societies!

Arrived quickly in nice condition. Unfortunately not the same size as other Element Encyclopedias. It is a bit smaller. Nice book over all.
