I use this in a hunting situation. I spend most of my time glassing with binoculars on a bipod to locate animals but when I find something and I want a better look at I’ll use a spotter. This tool makes switching from binoculars to my spotting scope so simple. Construction seems solid. Very light weight. Locking mechanism is a nice feature. So far extremely happy

Receive product today and try out. It looks nice, compact and very easy to use. Just a little push down on the base and whatever on top will lock in place. But I do have 2 suggestions: have extra grooves (0.5mm thick) on the removable top for easy grab and use wingnut instead of normal round type to tight it up.

The media could not be loaded. The thread on the bottom of my Zoom H8 sound recorder was starting to wear off from constant, everyday use and screwing it on and off a little tripod. Something had to be done and I started looking for a plate that could be permanently attached to the H8 and would easily let me put it on the tripod and take it back off. This little gizmo does the job PERFECTLY!! It is also very lightweight and seems super durable. It made it VERY easy to give it 5 stars!!!

Honestly works exactly as I was expecting and hoping it would. I bought 2 so I could put one on my tripod and one on my crane 2 so I could easily swap out my camera instead of having to change the proprietary mounting plate that came with the crane 2. I just balanced the gimbal with everything assembled. Makes my job sooooo much easier. Having to balance my gimbal every time I wanted to use my crane 2 was a nightmare and completely unprofessional on the job. My only wish is that they sold a combo with multiple bases and one camera attachment. I don’t want to have to buy both pieces together when I only use 1 camera at a time but have multiple tripods and gimbals I want to hot swap. Your camera may sit up a bit higher bc of the shape of the attachment, but I seriously gotta recommend it. Solid product.

Este es uno de los productos estrella que he comprado. Uno como fotógrafo o videógráfo sufre mucho cambiando cámara de un estabilizador a otro. En mi caso lo compré para hacer el cambio rápido desde mi ghimbal a un monopié o trípode y el tiempo de ahorro en un evento es de más de 30 segundos, que es un montón de tiempo. El cambio se hace de un lado a otro en menos de 6 segundos. También lo uso en fotografía. Tengo uno sujeto al arnés de la cámara y cuando necesito soltarla para hacer una toma cenital o cambiar un lente, es muy rápida la acción de liberación. Su construcción es sólida y de muy buena calidad. Lo digo con confianza pues lo he usado por más de un año en eventos sociales donde hay que correr mucho y ser muy rápido. Todos los fotógrafos y videógráfos deberían tener este accesorio.
