Great value for price!
The TOMLOV DM9 7” Digital Microscope is an outstanding tool that combines ease of use with excellent image quality, making it perfect for coin collectors, hobbyists, and anyone working on small electronics. The large 7-inch LCD screen displays crisp, detailed images in 1080P with a 12MP camera, and the 1200X zoom allows you to see fine details that are impossible to catch with the naked eye. Focusing is smooth and precise, and the included 32GB SD card makes capturing photos and videos effortless. I appreciate that it can connect to a PC for larger viewing, but the built-in screen is more than enough for most tasks. The sturdy stand keeps the microscope stable, and it’s been especially useful for soldering work where a steady view is crucial. Overall, this microscope is powerful, versatile, and a great value for the price—I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable digital microscope.

Great for searching coin rolls
I usually don't write reviews unless it's a 5 star. I'd rather rant about why I like something as opposed to why I don't....unless it REALLY sucks. This little guy is frickin amazing. I am an avid coin collector and wanted something to view coins without having to use a normal handheld magnifier. This little guy does the job. I love that it has an internal battery that lasts a decent amount of time if you don't use the 2 back lights. But I just plug a battery pack into it and go forever. At least if I'm not near a plug. The lens attachments it comes with are great for naked viewing and for viewing things in a reflective cover. The anti reflective guard works GREAT. Just get it. It's cheap and you won't be disappointed.

Decent microscope, base plate is too small for me
For the money this is a great deal. The gooseneck lamps are a bit floppy, but not too bad. Resolution isn't great, but it's more than enough for soldering small components. My biggest complaint is the base isn't large enough I'm working on a 92mm board, and it's always falling off the edge and I have to hold it some when I'm working. I need to find a bigger base to put over it, I guess. Update: to fix the base plate issue, I bought https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CQ46V2B7?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 (Magnetic Helping Hands Soldering Station with 4 Flexible Helping Hands, 5X Magnifying Glass and Adjustable Light with 4 Magnetic PCB Holder on Large Non-Slip Base for Electronic Repair Visit the OBDMONSTER Store). Both this microscope and that station had nice measurements and it fits just over the solder station base. I didn't install any of the arms, instead I bought the right size nuts (T5-0.8) and put the screws down instead of up. Works great.

Better than expected!
This thing works great for soldering. It has a metal base that weighs enough to keep it from jiggling around too much and the picture is pretty clear for such a cheap camera. My only advice, don't use the included camera part for soldering, use the clear price that already comes installed. It works way better. I do wish the base was ferrous, though. I would like to attach those little magnetic clamps to hold chips to it, but they don't stick.

Very Good for the Price!
Very good build quality for the price. The bottom is made of metal, so is very good for doing hot air and soldering work under. It's pretty adjustable as well. Very easy to put together. Was surprised at the clarity of it honestly, although I highly recommend the no glare attachment it comes with for best clarity. Seems durable enough for what it is. Been using it for soldering jobs that are too small to effectively work on with the naked eye, and it does a great job at that. Haven't found the remote very useful, or the fact it can take pictures or videos yet, but those are features it does come with if that's something you're interested in. Would definitely recommend this if you need a digital microscope

Really very good.
I was able to perform my own nailfold capillaroscopy. My bad doctor refused to order one. Good thing I did, it shows a really bad problem happening with my scleroderma! If you need to do the same you need a piece of polarizing plastic to cover the light and one on the lens, turn off the center microscope light(only use 1 side light with polarizer, turn the room lights very low, put a drop of clear cooking oil on skin just behind your nail, adjust the lights by twisting ether the scope or the one light until is is darkest. shine the light at a low angle. The first picture is my mine the second is my wifes. My wifes has neat loops of capillaries, mine are smears and globs. This microscope does a good job showing if you set it up right.

Major "change" towards my hobbies, especially collecting coins.
With instructions, very easy to set up and put the microscope to work in minutes. Great tool in supporting my hobbies.

Item has a weak point - locking device to hold the head.
The head mounts on a vertical pole with gears, it has a single thumb screw to lock it into position, screw fits into a nylon device to lock the head from moving. The nylon device stripped out after one month. Now i have to find ways to secure the head for viewing, otherwise the head slides to the lowest position with no lock. Other than this the lights and the clarity along with magnification works awesome. Easy to use, light weight, and does what i want it to do. The camera works great.
