Have an old van with no Bluetooth, so needed a cellphone holder that would sit high enough for the microphone to pick up my voice.However, didn't want to attach anything to windshield. Thought I was going to have to buy a center console AND a cupholding-type cellphone holder, but now, there's no need.Was able to suction firmly to the dashboard, on first try, without using the adhesive. The holder itself is sturdy. The adhesive however is not sticky enough, I will have to figure something else out to make it stick.

I bought this to record my road trip in NorwayThe suction cup feature works great on smooth surfaces, such as windshield glass, but does not work at all on anything textured such as the car dashboardThe gooseneck feature is great for adjusting to desired height and angle, but the design for holding the iPhone is horrendous. The iPhone, holding clips are meant to accommodate multiple iPhone types and sizes without marring iphone sides, but does not adequately grip the phone. My iPhone fell off Several times while filmingMy suggestion: keep the gooseneck feature, but improve the grips holding the iPhone

I love the extra long length And the flexibility. This has excellent adhesion to the windshield and is easily enough removed. It is very easy to install. It has 2 different mounting types, One is the adhesive section cup to the windshield and the other is a permanent disk that you can mount and then connect the phone holder onto the disk. Because of the length, there is vibration depending on the mounting. You may need to use the supplied bracket to hold the arm steady.I use this in my 2024 Toyota Rav4 hybrid. The arm is plenty long enough that it could be mounted on the windshield and the phone holder is in front of the AC vent. This is necessary to keep the phone cool while doing the delivery services that I do.This phone holder is the only one that I will be using from now on. I am very pleased with the quality of this phone holder.
