This is a great backpack, very stylish and comfortable. Lots of room for books, pens, pencils, electronic devices. Would highly recommend especially for college students.

Amazing, durable backpack with urban and professional look and applications. There is a ton of room to manage a lot of items in this bag, and the straps and padding are very comfortable for even some heavy loads. I was a bit wary of the shades-pouch at the top but as long as you don't fill the insides to the top, your shades/glasses should remain safe in there. The cool-pouch is quite handy for snacks and drinks, and doesn't compromise the space inside the bag for it. The laptop pocket is quite large, maybe fitting as big as a 17" laptop or a 15" within a case. My only complaint is the color of the Switch seems to change tone under different lighting conditions - in fluroscent light, it looks dark purple. In sunlight it looks like a rusty, dried blood (cool!), and in the product pictures, they look more neutral/dark gray. In any case, its practical use and design are aces for light-to-heavy commuting, with room to spare without feeling like you're backpacking through the Alps or something. I hope to strap my skateboard on it this Spring/Summer to really help break in the materials. I doubt this thing will throw people off-balance one a board even though it only has the sternum strap for added security.

I blow through backpacks like candy. The main problem is the shoulder straps always give out quickly, but this backpack has extra wide straps and are sewed in with a lot better quality than most. This backpack also has pockets in all the right spots, and the insulation pocket is awesome. You can fit a ice pack and two soda cans inside it. So far this is my favorite backpack I've owned so far.

Not big enough. Just one small compartment for books that barely fits couple of good size textbooks. The compartment for laptop opens only halfway.

I bought this backpack about a year ago when my last duel backpack gave out due to the seam at the bottom wearing out after three years of use. Now, I will be purchasing another brand due to the same problem happening in one year. All of my books and notebooks fell out when I was walking and the seam gave way. I believed these backpacks were supposed to be durable and all I use them for is school related activities. I hope that Dakine will improve their quality on their bags, but during the meantime I'll be purchasing from someone else.

My son loves this. The price was unbeatable & the color are just what he wanted.....other then the green interior but it didn't seem to bother him too much. Would recommend to all that need a long lasting backpack.

This backpack is awesome! Light weight and not bulky but holds tons of stuff. Favorite pack this size that I've owned so far.

I had one of these bags a few years ago in black and red, but after about 3 years of daily use and abuse the main zip broke (I think stuffing an entire duvet into it did not help). I bought a Campus 33l to replace it with, but the build quality was nowhere near as good. Much thinner material and less padding.So I went back and got another Duel 26l, it's every bit as good as my first one and I love it. It's very well made, has plenty of padding and I have no doubt it'll last me a good few years like my first one did.
