Spring Stinks-A Little Bruce Book (Mother Bruce Series) Hardcover – Picture Book, January 5, 2021

I was babysitting my grandkids and my granddaughter had me read this funny spring book. She was laughing at Bruce getting stung by the bees. And the wet moose. This series is really cute and funny at the same time. Mema and uncle gave this book to them I’m so glad I did. well loved book.

5-starsHuge hit with friend's 3-year-old!I'm a fan of Ryan T. Higgins' books, especially the Mother Bruce ones. I got this one as a gift for a friend's daughter. It's smaller in size with a lighter narrative (think: board book plus) than a regular Bruce picture book. It's much easier for little hands to hold! Her daughter loved Ruth the bunny and the wet moose! I highly recommend this for younger Bruce fans. The art is gorgeous, the text makes a fun read-aloud and the humor is spot on for little ones. She wants more Little Bruce Books! Fantastic transition book.

Yes this book is physically smaller, yes the text is shorter. Bruce’s temperament has not changed a bit, and the illustrations are everything we expect.This book is a Little Bruce Book. Perfect for small hands and younger Bruce enthusiasts. Many folks seemed to have missed that aspect, and in all fairness it’s not pasted in big bold letters in the description.This purchaser is not disappointed. I have books of all sizes on our shelves. My grandkids are at different levels of interest and attention span. I’m hoping for a few more Little Bruce Books!

Our youngest grandson is a big fan of Bruce the Bear. Got this book for his Easter basket because it was Spring related. He truly loves Bruce the Bear.

Loved it. What a great idea to make a little Bruce book! A quick, fun read and perfect for smaller hands to flip through... four year old has carried it around all week :) Plus being a little Bruce book the price point was great
