Gelly Roll Classic, Medium Pt, Multicolor, 10 PK 37460

Sakura's Gelly Roll gel pens are my favorite, hands down! (or thumbs up!) I bought my first two sets at a craft store when the black paper craze was still going strong. I had lots of paper, no pens! I shelled out a bit more than I really wanted to for two sets of 10 pens. Turns out they were 'repackaged' mix and match, though all of them worked. However, I fell in love! THIS set is perfect! This CLASSIC collection of 10 medium point pens, including basic colors and some fun extras, writes to perfection! I frequently use other Gelly Roll pens (such as Moonlight and Metallic), but I don't like to buy when they're much over $1 a pen (might have to raise that a little...) so when these went on sale from one of my favorite sellers, TCP Global corp, I jumped! This set isn't specialized like the metallic or glittery pens, or flourescent/glow in the dark like the Moonlight pens (I don't use them for that feature, they are simply great opaque gelly pens with good coverage and look like paint when you're done!). Classic is exactly what they are. They're not made to write on dark paper, they don't puff up or glaze or swirl, they're just great pens. I also use Sakura's Pigma Micron pens, though I haven't been working with them for long. I wanted some ink that came close to that standard without costing quite as much per pen. I'm coloring in tiny areas in patterns from a coloring book called "Zendoodles" (amazon purchase), and was upset when all the ink in my red #01 pigma micron ran out! So I decided that perhaps the gelly roll pens, except for tiniest places, would work just as well, or better, for filling in color. They do, and dry almost as quickly as the Pigma Micron pens, though they don't come in different widths of line or tip. (Classic gelly roll tip is 0.8mm, the line is 0.4mm, classified as 'medium' by Sakura). In any case, I can now save my extra special pens for lines and tiny areas, and use these for other filling-in needs. They also make great diary pens-they'll write on almost any type or quality of paper, and once dry, are colorfast, acid free, etc. Archival quality, in other words! So if you want some basic-but never plain-gel pens for multi-purpose use, these are the ones to get! No color repeats, and the black, blue and green pens are advertised as being good for writing checks (fraud prevention) though I've never used them for that purpose. Sakura's pens are made in Japan, though the company is called 'Sakura of America' here in the States. The Japanese and Germans have a tie on technically precise, quality pens, in my opinion. If I find true American made pens, I'll compare and see how they stand up, but right now they're all (as far as I've seen) "made in China" and that won't do for my art work! Five stars and lots of brilliant color!

Gelly Roll pens are the best pens. They are never clumpy nor do they skip ink. I have loved these pens for 30 years. Now, in this set, you get all the colors for making your own cards, drawing and writing letters.

These pens work amazingly, they are very smooth and the ink flow continuously when needed.

These Sakura Gelly Roll pens are good. Very smooth writing, fun to use, and the colors are accurate. Sometimes they can be a bit "clumpy" and itsn't the quickest drying. All in all not a bad pen.

I have used this brand for years for scrapbooking, they write nice and smooth. Hard to find in stores so I was happy to find them on Amazon. This brand has all different colors also so it was easy to find the shade you want.

I’m an artist – mainly pen & ink – and these are the best gel ink pens I have ever used. I purchased the 10-pack (medium line width) with a variety of colours. Pervious to the purchase, I was familiar with the brand, as the Sakura Pigma Micron is my go-to marker for pen and ink drawing. I tested every colour in the 10-pack set and every pen worked out-of-the package on the first line. The colours are very vibrant and bright. These pens are very smooth, but not to the point where they’re uncontrollable – on the contrary, these pens offer fantastic line control without skipping. I would recommend these gel pens to anyone who likes journaling, or creatives with a flair for sketching. Another added bonus is the fact that Sakura Gelly Roll Gel Pens are waterproof, making them great to use for line and wash watercolour sketching. I highly recommend Sakura Gelly Roll Gel Pens.

Colores muy bonitos

These are great pens the first gel pens of the world still work great the pack was awesome all the colours worked properly but there was NO PINK...I hate it instead the gave me a white one so all is good but I wanted the pink you can surely use them in you school work if you want but let me tell you that these are not WATERPROOF THESE WILL SMUDGE if you are a lefty this might trouble you but the flow will be consistent and they do bleed a little bit through paper but they won't bleed through classmate notebooks..

Me encantaron, son muy útiles y bonitos. Son útiles para dibujos a mano alzada y trabajar con papel de color oscuro. Tienen mucha tinta y son versátiles. Llegaron a tiempo y en perfecto estado.
