New Seasons Baby's First Year Memory Keeper

I ordered this book for our second child (gender unknown). I was a little concerned because another review had mentioned that the book appeared 'girlish' in some respects.I am happy with the purchase. I believe it is very gender neutral, It's filled with a variety of baby animals ... so I would easily call it "babyish" ... if you want a "manly" book - try trucks or sports. I don't think zoo animals appear to favor girls or boys more.There is only a page or two that is dedicated to pregnancy / ultrasound / etc. So if you want to journal about your pregnancy, you will need another book. This is my second pregnancy, so I've just filled out little pregnancy blips on cute paper and used the pockets to hold these extra memories.The paper is very silky. Pens work fine. If you want to use a marker, you need an actual fine point sharpie. When the product arrived, there was some bending on the corners. Not a big deal since I'm sure it will get some wear and tear damage over the next few years. I LOVE the pockets. I've been saving things to put in my daughters baby book for months! This is a great way to keep it all together to give to her when she is older. I love that the cover are photos of baby for a year. So many great qualities about this baby book. I've been searching for a while!

I don't think I've ever written a review before so this is big for me. I bought this for my best friends baby shower because I have a baby book for my daughter and I think it's a nice thing to have for when they are older. I was looking for something cute and fair priced. This baby book not only was cheap but it's adorable. It has pockets in every page to store memories and keepsakes. The pages themselves are thick and sturdy. I actually considered buying one for my daughter even though I already have one. I love that you can put a picture for every month on the cover. If you're looking for a good, cute, and good priced baby book this is it.

I received this book a few days ago, and took a better look at the pages before wrapping it. To my surprise I found ink/pen marks inside the cover page, and on the first page as well, almost as if a small child was doodling on it (I do not have little ones anymore, so I know it came like this). Also noticed the sleeve that describes the books contents has been removed and put back on (sticker is not sticky anymore and keeps coming off). It's a shame, because it's a cute book that has baby's first year, instead of 5 years that many books are nowadays, which is likely not going to get filled out in reality. The pages are all pocket pages for mementos. But I'm very disappointed in quality control. Not only do I not have a present for the baby shower tomorrow, but I wasted the parcel fee for receiving the book at a local business so that I would receive it quickly. I will have to contact the seller and send it back which is a pain.

Bought this as a baby shower gift and the Mom to be loved it. I personally think it is great. It has pockets for keepsakes. I love that you can also include the 1st year monthly pictures on the cover. I feel the questions on the inside were good. The standard questions you get in a first year book. (Sorry Can't remember any right now) Wished I had one when my kids were born. Instead I have the book and the picture frame sperate w/o any keepsake options (first haircut, tooth, drawing etc)

It's okay, I wish I would've picked a more traditional one. This one asks for a pic of each season and is a little repetitive with the things it asks you to write down (several questions about walking that for the most party are the same answer, the question is just reworded several times). It also only has a place for horizontal photos and unfortunately most of mine are vertical so I had to cut them down to fit.

I love this memory keeper book! It's so hard to find baby memory books with storage pockets in them! I love having the storage pockets to put ultrasound pics in, baby's ankle bracelet from the hospital and other small memory items. My other children LOVE going through their memory books and pulling out the items from the storage pockets and marveling at how small and tiny they used to be. Love this book! Would definitely recommend and buy again!

I was looking for baby book similar to the one we received for our first child. The primary reason for buying this was the monthly photos on the cover. Initially, the book seemed OK, the questions about what you thought and how you felt seemed tolerable. As I got further along, it became apparent the majority of the questions were about emotions rather than simple details of events surrounding the birth, growing up, etc. The quantity of content was lacking thanks to huge spacing between lines. Making matters worse, the questions were written as if the mother was completing the book, not a dad like me. I finally decided to order the same book from our first child and removed all keepsakes from this one.
