**2 month update.. On my way home from work tonight, the lights started flickering, then went out, started smoking and caught on fire.They've worked perfectly for 2 months, I'm not sure what happened. I contacted the manufacturer and they replied back instantly and offered to send out new replacement lights at no charge.I bought these to add an extra layer of visibility on my recumbent bike. I haven't been able to try these in the rain yet. They are super bright! They are like flood lights so, if you are thinking about mounting these on the front of anything, you may want to position them to aim towards the ground because they saturate everything with light, not directional at all.I like the metal frame to keep them rigid and the adhesive is very sticky.These lights are well worth the money. Hopefully they will hold up in the rain.

Fortunately, I tested these LED strips as soon as received. All 4 samples were connected to a 12V DC power source (refer to attached image, which shows all 4 strips in operation). The strips consist of ~28 individual LED elements mounted on a metal-framed circuit board. All 4 strips exhibited several dead or failing LED elements "right out of the box". Dim elements unbalance the current distribution, resulting in excess brightness in others, and consequential short operating life. I returned this item the next day (which is easy to do when you purchase from Amazon).I can only think of 2 reasons for these unsatisfactory results:(1) The manufacturer has poor quality and does not test their products before sending them to Amazon.(2) The manufacturer does test their products, but intentionally ships the failures to Amazon, perhaps because Amazon negotiated a lower price than the manufacturer's other customers.I recommend all to test these LED strips before using them.

Easy to install. Very bright.

Everyone complains about how flimsy, thin wires, and etc. You get what you pay for people! I took these out of the frame and used some double-sided thermal tape onto a 3/4" x 48" aluminum flat bar as a heatsink from The Home Depot that I cut down to size. I resoldered all into parallel using the onboard solder pads. These work flawlessly for my needs with no over heating and no burning out. All in total cost me about $15.00. these are not waterproof or ip proof of any sort. I would suggest using some high heat silicone on the solder pads or laminating these to make them water resistant (use some aluminum flat bar for heat).

Good value, just installed them so i cant comment on longevity. I feel they were Inexpensive for what you get, being a good value, but, super bright. Happy with my purchase. I used them for dome lights on my golf cart.

Received only two pieces and they were defectiveI ordered replacementThis time again they shipped 2 pieces where as it should be 4 pieces and also the light is blue and not white

overall light performance is great, however short lived as whatever you stick these onto, with the provided adhesive doesn’t last long. Poor thermal dissipation & it essentially ‘melts’ off of the adhesive and falls.

Cheap but varies a lot in quality !The current draw varies from strip to strip and no way water resistant .Very bright but as they get hot the current tends to go up .

Rubbish, dont work, not bright. They are do dull your phone torch is brighter. These are a waste of money.
