Stay grounded !
You paid good stinking money for that tent! Don't let Mother Nature rob you of your structure. Get these curly, spikey things, drill them in the ground, tension the lines and laugh at the wind!Sure your inept kids may hit the lines when they mow your lawn. Oh wait, what kids mow their parent's lawns, anymore? Ha. These spikes are a good length to hold down what you need a holding down! They can double as a dog line holder so Fido can run all over your yard and drop his mess everywhere.Get these and come up with your own creative methods of employment. They are strong. Easy to drill into the ground.

Easy to install
Easy to install. Might want to put a little oil on the treads. If it is left outside for too long the eyelit will be hard to get unscrewed.

Solid
These will do exactly what you need. I used my small impact and drove them home with ease. They seem to very solid and strong anchors. Length was correct and function as they should. Much better than regular tent stakes.

Get these and Make Sure to Use a Drill
I used these multiple times to help anchor down embedded poles and decorations outside. They work really well, but they aren’t magic.Great Part : With my drill and in my soil, these went right down and held very firmly. When I added a pretty substantial (but still reasonable) amount of force against them, they didn’t wiggle. And still, removed them from the ground was super easy and didn’t leave a massive hold to be filled.Know before you Start :You really have to have a midrange drill at least - the weaker the drill, the less likely your drill will be able to actually put it way down in the ground.Putting these in is going to be harder in harder soil. If you have really tough soil, count on putting in a bit more elbow grease to get the eyes flush with the groundIf you drill can’t do all the work, you can put a rod through the eye and twist these down into the ground manually. You have to use these like any other tie down, so if you are trying to keep something straight up and down, you’ll probably have to run 2 wires in opposite directions.I would highly recommend these for outdoor applications on small to medium jobs. I have bought another pack already because I was so satisfied with e product.

They're good and effective but....
We were using these for setting up canopies for our business at outdoor events. Over the last few shows, we did notice a few things. These are not very effective in sandy locations. One of our events was close to a beach, not on the beach, and the sandy soil did not hold these stakes very firmly. We simply had to use back up stakes as well as these. The next event, they worked just fine. The last event was hard pack, and the stakes really struggled going in, and most of them we couldn't even get back out of the ground, so we pounded them down and covered them, or we just dug them up with random tools we found in the trailer. You'd think we could simply reverse the drill and the stakes would come out... But nope. The stakes just spun and spun in the ground creating a small cavity. The powder coating or paint on the top of the stake where the drill attaches is also a bit of a pain until you can get the paint worn off because it doesn't quite fit in the drill right. Once you're looking at bare metal on the top of the stake, it's fine. These would also be more effective and easier to use if they had more levels to the disc. Just the two times around post isn't quite enough to hold it well into the ground, or allow it to back out efficiently. Would I buy again? Maybe, but I'll check for others with more levels on the disc.

Save Time and Money
To start the socket didn’t come with product. And, by the way, it is a 12mm socket not 17.The quality is sub par. The eyelets dove screw In well. And anchor itself more or less just digs a hole. Basically just loosens all the dirt that is supposed to hold it in place. I’ve had MUCH better luck with the ones that have a spiral all the way down. But it is your call…. Good luck!
