Primitive and reliable. Great backup borad.
It's strange times when the best keyboards are $15 and the worst are over $80. This is a primitive keyboard, but if you want reliable, low-profile and quiet, this might be your board. Personally, I highly recommend it. And if it isn't your dream come true, it's an entirely worthy and practical backup. At this price, buy it.

don't crush these good keyboards!!!
Good keyboard---have several on CNC machine computers and they work well and robust----long lasting (except) when they are subject to a 5 pound holding clamp dropped on them----my bad!!!!

Inexpensive, easy upgrade
This is the same keyboard that came when I purchased the desktop computer. Over 3 years it got noisy, repeated letters, and was causing frustration. The new keyboard was a quick install. Much quieter and accurate. Especially when I'm doing work that requires precision in wording, this keyboard is highly responsive and accurate as I type. The price was excellent, and I didn't have to get used to a new keyboard layout. Thanks, Dell!

pretty good
Mechanically this keyboard is pretty good given the budget price. Key assignments leave something to be desired for me. If you don't see it inscribed on the keys, the key codes don't get sent. The numlock keys work but don't seem to do anything if not in numlock. The most important functions work so for me it's good enough to keep. Also wish the raised portions of F and J keys were raised more so they'd be easier to feel for touch typing.

A keyboard that's similar to a laptop's keyboard!
I've been through many keyboards in my illustrious 15 years of computing, yep folks, got my first computer in 2001 and it's 2016 now,so you can do the math. Yep,I know,I may be a little late but better late then never right and my first Computer was a Dell,or well made by Dell, same thing I guess. I have a Dell now but it's not the same computer that I started with 15 years ago,wow imagine having a Pentium III running at 866 mhz, that would be a bit slow to say the least compared to today's standards. Any way I say that to say since I have had mostly Dell computers,I try and buy dell peripherals/hardware as well. I think doing it like this makes hardware compatibility easier. I've had other Dell keyboards in the past but this one seems to be the best one I've had thus far,I have to admit,I was a bit skeptical at first,I saw the pic of it and I said to myself, well,I don't know if that's for me but I'm glad I went ahead and bought it despite my skepticism. The price was right as well,I got this for $6 bucks and the s and h was $6 as well so it was $12 altogether, bought right here on ........Amazon.com! (cheap pop? Any rasslin fans reading this??) There really isn't much to say about this keyboard but I wanted to come here and review it any way because so far I'm loving it. I don't think my typing speed has improved over night?,hmm but for some reason it feels like I can type faster with this keyboard. This keyboard is similar to the keyboard on a laptop, meaning that the buttons take very little pressure to press,if that makes any sense,it's a little hard to explain but when you get the keyboard you'll see what I mean,so maybe that's where the speed increase comes in,I'm not really sure. I'm typing on it right now and it just feels so smooth compared to my last keyboard which was decent enough but the buttons got stuck after a while,by the way,it was a Dell keyboard as well. Any way in conclusion if you're skeptical,I say give it a try any way because you just never know you may end up loving it as I currently do. Also for under $15 bucks you really don't have alot to lose so if you want to apply the whole risk vs reward principle,I think the "risk" is definitely worth the "reward". I would definitely purchase this keyboard again, who knows maybe I'll get a spare one one day. Take care and happy shopping right here on .................Amazon. com :)

Perfect for smaller hands
Simple, but extremely reliable. Great for smaller hands, when other keyboards keys are too big and spread out. I love the thin style.

Basic is best
Sometimes the most basic is still the best. Nice low profile keyboard with ease of typing, keys are spaced apart just enough to not make typing errors but not so widely that the keyboard itself is compact.

Honestly, just what you would expect from a dell keyboard. its nothing fancy but does what it says. Typical office keyboard (which i use for gaming everyday too). I dont really mind this cuz it does what it must without any problems. Keys are great, the typing experience is good for an average user. if you are coming down from Mechanical keyboard and are very keen about clicking sound then you will feel vast difference. On the other hand if you are just an average user and want a good full sized keyboard witch wont give you any issue then go ahead.
