It's a sail tie.
Worked great!

Sturdy ties, but fairly short for some uses.
Sturdy. Wish the sewn loop was an inch larger. I use a loop through the sewn, then another drawn tight loop for quick release on the water.So, a larger sewn loop is easier to get through, and the ties end up too short forward on the furled mainsail. I use them on the aft positions when tieing, but the more sail material up front-I use longer ties, probably 60”.

Not flimsy like other ties I have had
These will last. Well-made and not flimsy. Perfect for sail reefing and wrapping main sail.
