C-color Aluminum Pencil Sharpener 2 Pcs,blades 4 Pcs,with Plastic Cover

I wanted something small and dependable and I got it with this sharpener. the fact that they sent two in the package means that I could give one of them to a family member as a gift for her office area at home. This item sharpens pencils to a very fine point without breaking the lead and is very easy to use, not to mention taking so much less space than any electric sharpener available along with taking not much more time to sharpen a pencil than those electric sharpeners. And like another reviewer mentioned, I can't even guess how long it will be before I have to change out the blades, but I am sure that they can be easily honed back into their original sharpness in any case, so I anticipate this being the last sharpener that I buy for the rest of my life.

These little sharpeners are great. They are small and do an excellent job of creating a nice sharp point for your writing pleasure! They come with replacement blades and little carrying cases so you don't get marks on your pocket, clothes or bag. I bought them specifically to use with the Mitsubishi HB Pencils for the Bar exam. They were excellent. My only critique (and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) is that I wish they something built in to catch the shavings. For ordinary purposes this isn't such a big deal, but for my use (a very long standardized exam) not having anywhere for the shavings to go was a bit inconvenient.

Good product

I have the fancier "special" FC and Prisma sharpeners for my colored pencils, but these work just as well, travel easily, fit into the cases without issue, and work on cosmetic pencils too. The extra blades are a nice plus and work with one of my vintage sharpeners from Germany, that was a special plus. Not a big deal to have a little dish for shavings, imho. Still using the first one from a year ago. Sweet.

I used to have a sharperner that I got 45 years ago when I was an Engineering undergrad and had to take drafting. I can't find it now. I don't like the plastic ones they make for school kids. So I ordered this set. It is just like the professional one I've had all these years. It is sturdy (made of metal) and puts a very sharp point on the pencil. We used to use a fine sandpaper to refine the point after sharpening. I don't have to do this with this sharperner. It's a great product. It will definitely sharpen the lead in your pencil without requiring oysters!

Very well made. The best design of a tiny sharpener I've ever seem. Extra blades? These guys are serious. The cut of the angle into the pencil is more extreme than standard wall sharpeners, making for a shorter overall point. But it seems to work fine.

We've had an electric pencil sharpener. Whenever we needed it, the batteries were dead. The last time we needed it, the batteries had leaked, and the whole gizmo was shot. That's when I ordered these little gems. They're just like the pencil sharpeners we had in elementary school except that they're solid aluminum instead of plastic. They work perfectly, they look like they could last a lifetime, and they don't require batteries. I suppose if you have to sharpen fifty pencils every day, these sharpeners might be inadequate. But for household use, they're very affordable, and they're all we'll ever need.
