Q: Did they recently change this product? My cat use to love these treats and w/ my last bag she wont touch them - they look different to me too.

Vetoquinol lied! Check the old package and it will not have a flavor. The new package will say liver flavor. My cat will not touch the ones that are liver flavor. I am looking for a new product.

I can't say if they changed the formula in that our cat has only been on the Lysine for about five months, and they have always been dark brown and hard (but somewhat moist). Fortunately, our cat loves them, has no problem keeping them down, and they are doing the job of preventing secretions from the eyes.

Q: How many treat are in the bag.

I have a small scale and I measured out 20 treats which is 10 g. The bag I purchased is 180 g or 6.35 oz in net weight, so I believe that would be approximately 360 treats in a bag. The directions say to give your cat 6 treats for flare-ups (250mg). Also that your cat can have up to 12 treats a day. I hope this helps answer your concerns.

Good question - the back of the bag doesn't give calories. Here is a comparison with Feline Greenies which is 1.25 calories per treat. For a 5 lb cat, they suggest 11 treats. For routine maintenance Enisyl recommends 6 treats. Comparisons.in per cents - Greenies Crude Protein 27, Crude Fat 12, Crude Fiber 10 Enisyl Lysine Treats Crude Protein 30, Crude Fat 8, Crude Fiber 1.
