These are not PROFORCE
These came in a bag with a different company name on the bag and a generic sticker stuck to it that said ProForce. I bought another pair of these same exact size for my other daughter from a different seller. They came in a bag that Had Proforce printed on the bag itself. There is a huge difference between the two. The part that goes on the top of the foot is about 1 1/2 inches shorter than the real ProForce. The company will not allow me to return the product. There is no way it will fit my daughter it leaves almost her hole foot exposed. Very disappointed and angry over this one.

Great for the price. Great product.
I purchased these kick pads expecting the worst. They arrived promptly and to my surprise they are a great looking and feeling set of pads. I'm an independent pro wrestler / referee and these are awesome for what I need them for. My kids are into MMA and they enjoy these for sparring and kicking around, pun intended. I would recommend this set of kick pads. I'll update this as i use them. And for those wondering they are a size large and yes you can wear them over sneakers. Just put the pads on the sneaker first.

Pads remove easily for washing
I've bought three pair of these. One pair for me and two pair for other family members. I have had mine about 3 years. They have held up with regular use and periodical washing. Pads remove easily for washing. I've found that they stay in place and allow ease of movement. Unlike other sparring skin pads that Velcro around the leg, these do not shift, come loose, or feel cumbersome under my pants.

Good for light to medium contact sparring
Good product. Used for karate sparring practice, and these always protected me adequately. Lightweight, comfortable, well-fitting, and the encasing fabric never tore or damaged, despite LOTS of abuse.Only two issues with this product:1) You need to wash them every or every other training session, as they stink up from sweat fairly quickly. Not as bad as some other gear, but enough to wear I stopped keeping them in my gym bag for long periods of time without washing.2) I am not sure if this was unique to the pair I had, or if all have this problem, but the way the sewing is closed up leaves a sort of bunched up ball of the black fabric on the bottom part (the plantar surface) of the foot, such that it sometimes feels like you're stepping on something. Not bad at first, but after a long session of sparring, its like a "rock in your shoe" type of feeling. I fixed this by cutting out (literally) the bunched up part and gluing the ends together with super glue. It hasn't compromised the pads in any way.Ultimately, I am happy with my purchase, and would recommend these for light to medium contact sparring, as well as general shin protection in other activities.

Tears of joy
Before I got this product, I was almost always coming home with bruises and sore spots on my shins from sparring. The day I received this product in the mail, I got to test it out for about 6 rounds of sparring and was so happy when I got done and had no shin pain whatsoever. It is somewhat difficult to get them off when you are done sparring, but that is a small price to pay to have the protection these things offer. Probably one of my best purchases to date from amazon...seriously. pay close attention in the product description to the dimensions you are ordering... the large was I think 5 3/4 inches across on the padding, which was perfect for my feet, but I do have somewhat narrow feet; so I would recommend measuring the distance across your instep and finding the size that corresponds to that. Some reviews I have seen on other instep pads say that they have issues with the instep pads covering the pinky toe, this didn't happen to me, I guess because my feet might be narrow, but are also big ( I wear a size 12 in most shoes), so it just simply wasn't an issue for me. Highly recommend these. Have told several people in my dojo about these. Great quality for the price.

Good padding for light sparrring.
I use these in my kung fu class. The school sold a different type of padding for about half the price but I ripped through those in just a couple of months. These have been working great.

This are great started guards
This are great started guards. When he starts kicking the heavy bags I will invest in a more sturdy better protection pair but for now these are perfect. My son is 11 and does kickboxing 3 days a week at 1.5 hours each time and they have held up well, no complaints and he says they are comfortable.

Light weight and easy to put on
Light weight and easy to put on. Size is as described. It's little big for my 5 year old who wears size 12 shoes, but enough to cover his toes. So for practical use on daily training he wears these. It comes up to his knees, but enough for him to move around without any issues. He told me that the bottom was uncomfortable and I immediately knew why. There is a thick knot from end of sewing which can cause discomfort. I had the same issue with my old ones. Ended up cutting a little piece out then folded and sewed for a flatter ending. He has no issues now.
