The lid looks bent about an inch and a half at the rim. Is it suppoae to be like that?

I’m pretty sure it would. The adapters fit a lot of popular vehicles. I used it for my Honda CR-V.

Does this fit a 04 toyota camry?

My box came with about a dozen adapters. I'm pretty sure one will fit your '04 Toyota. If not you can self seal once the bucket goes into the top of the radiator.
