Great product for pressing clothes without damaging them
I'm a single guy who refuses to waste money taking clothes to the laundry to be cleaned or pressed, so as a result, I do all that myself. Ironing shirts has never been a problem, but pants, particularly dark ones, have always been my bugaboo. If I try to iron them, they might turn out shiny. If I try to steam them, sometimes all the wrinkles don't come out. I need to press them without the pants getting shiny. I was advised to try a pressing cloth, so I took my research to Amazon and voila, I came across this product. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. I can press pants, using steam and high heat, without harming the cloth or getting that area shiny. It's really been the answer to my major pants-pressing problem. I can also use it to press ties that might be slightly wrinkled or dark shirts that might be prone to getting shiny.Buying this pressing cloth is cheaper than taking my stuff to the laundry. I recommend it.

This is Perfect!!
My previous ironing cloth was getting old and I couldn't remember where I had gotten it from. When I read some of the negative reviews on this, I was a little weary about purchasing it. My kids where a lot of the Athletic sports shirts(I believe they are polyester) and are very expensive at $120 ea so I definitely don't want to ruin them. This ironing cloth works perfect, I have never had any problem with it at all, and I use it a lot. I also use on their t-shirts with Logo's and stuff. I think the only way anyone would ever have a problem with this cloth is if they didn't let their iron heat up before using it. I've made that mistake on clothing before and it will scorch or burn them, and it would scorch or burn the cloth too. Let your iron heat up (like you should anyway), and shouldn't have a problem. If you aren't sure, just run the iron across the ironing board cover first, if it's doesn't slide smoothly it probably hasn't heated fully. I do have a really good iron, it's a Rowenta so maybe their iron is their problem? This ironing cloth has been a godsend for me with all the things that I need to have covered to iron.

Works great, added extra stitching.
I use it when I put on stabilizer and it has saved me a lot of time because now I don't have to clean the iron. I had the same problem with the binding looking a mess where it was joined. It seemed like it would come off after just a few uses. I put another line of stitching around the entire outside before I used it once. It has not been a problem. Very sheer and does not melt even a little bit.

This press cloth works!!!
I am very pleased with the LoopsLiving No Melt Press Cloth. I use it to iron on my son's name into his athletic clothes. Invariably, the iron on tags start coming off in the wash. It's such an easy fix to get the iron out, the press cloth and just retouch it up. Most of my son's athletic clothes are black....with no labels to write names on. And the fabrics usually will melt when I try to iron on the labels.....no more problems with that. I can put my iron on as high as I want and as long as the press cloth is underneath the iron, there are no scorch or burn mark's on my son's expensive athletic clothes.

PERFECT.
I love this product! After tossing a worn and tattered 20 y/o press cloth, I replaced it with this one. I love that the edges are finished, so no fraying like the last one. The iron just GLIDES over it even at highest heat. I'm a seamstress and machine embroiderer, so I use my iron daily on a wide range of fabrics and embroidery and I was looking for the best way to protect from the high heat. So far, so good! I will be recommending this to the beginner machine embroidery group that I admin on Facebook.

Total bait and switch. HORRIBLE quality.
Cheap synthetic press cloths are all over the place, and I was under the impression I was paying more for one that was better than that. What I got was actually an incredibly cheap, janky, plastic press cloth that looks nothing like what was advertised. The packaging has a random Chinese name (not LoopsLiving) and doesn't mention silk at all. The cloth has a really open mesh weave too, not the tight, sheer weave shown in the listing. The lining around the edges is seen poorly and shedding threads. It feels like cheap nylon that'll melt easily, too.Basically, I paid extra for a press cloth that's even worse than the one I already owned (I needed a replacement since I melted a hole in mine, which is why I bought one that's supposed to be more heat resistant). The seller is clearly a scam artist advertising one thing and sending out another.

Too thin to be useful
This product is useful for certain applications such as ironing natural fibers that can take a lot of heat, but overall is not a good pressing cloth and I think I would have been better off buying a half yard of durable cotton fabric instead. As other reviewers have noted, it's extremely thin, which certainly gives it the advantage of being sheer, but it's TOO thin. Too much heat passes through the cloth and on my second time using it, it fused to the synthetic fabric that I was ironing. I didn't think I was using an excessive amount of heat, but now the cloth is ruined as there's melted material stuck to it. Fortunately I was ironing the back side of the item in question, so there was minimal damage, but if you're looking for a cloth to genuinely protect your articles, look elsewhere.I finished the job I was working on with a piece of light cotton canvas material and it worked much better. Guess I should have stuck with that instead of wasting $10 on this. Oh well...

Bigger than most
Most pressing cloths are too small, this is a nice size and the sheerness makes it easier to use. Withstands high heat.
