After reading tons of the other reviews on this mattress we decided to purchase it for my mother in law who is in the last stages of Alzheimer’s. It took me some time to finally decide to purchase it because of the negative reviews I have read on here In the end I felt that the positive reviews I read were from extremely satisfied buyers so we went ahead with our purchase. I am so glad that we made this decision, this mattress was so so easy to set up and to operate. My mother in law seems to be very comfortable and has not had any bed sores develop. The vinyl cover caused her to get very sweaty at night so I followed another ladies advice and I folded up a king size 100% cotton flat sheet and I put it from her shoulders to around her knee area under the twin xl size 100% cotton fitted sheet that she sleeps on. Every since I made the changes she doesn’t get anywhere near as sweaty at night, using 100% cotton sheets makes all the difference in the world because it breathes so much better than the polyester ones I was using at 1st. Thank you to everyone who left reviews on this mattress and especially the long very detailed reviews, you all helped me make an informed decision on something I knew absolutely nothing about and helped me solve the only issue we have had. I am a very satisfied customer, if you are on the fence about purchasing this mattress I think you will not regret purchasing it if you decide to!! Hope my review is able to assist another family during a hard time of making lots of hard, confusing and sad decisions regarding their loved ones care. Just do the best you can and you will do just fine!!!

I purchased the 8” air mattress and it has been a life saver in keeping my bed ridden mother from getting bed sores. However, I wish I had purchased the 5” instead because during a power outage, the 8” has no back up mattress foam so the last outage she almost sank to the bed springs! Plus the 8” doesn’t have the loops to keep the power cord neat! It’s past the time of retunability so I have to make do now. Hope this review will help others decide which size is best for them!

A bit challenging to keep sheets on. And straps need to be longer to secure to frame but so far so good mostly quiet

Super great product! I was not expecting such a great product! My father who was in hospice had to return their bed and the air mattress was hard to let go of, this air mattress is superb!!!!!!

We got this for our teenage son with cerebral palsy. It works great at keeping him comfortable and sore free.

Excelent overlay matress, strong, good quality and functioning very well. I already had other trade of overlay matress but this APEX is the best experience . I recommend it.

Pump is very quiet and product is well worth the price. Very happy with this purchase.
