This is an excellent book. Very thorough. I learned a great deal from this book. I know a lot about the japanese sword. This book is an excellent reference for just about any question. Great for beginner as well as advanced students. It is not a how-to book. This is a subject that needs "doing". Yet, this is very helpful.

Great Book
My iaido master recommended this book to me and it has been very helpful. It is a good reference book for when I am working on my own and have questions. Although, the book can never replace a good iadio master, it is a must-have for any serious iaido student.

Brilliant reading
If you own a Japanese blade this is a book you should take time to read. Excellent detail on the history and understanding of what it is you draw from the saya.
