CCnutri Matcha Green Tea Powder-Japanese Matcha-Culinary Grade Matcha Green Tea Powder 16oz

This is one of the worst tasting matcha powders I’ve ever had in my life. I’m half Japanese and grew up in a Japanese household and I’m telling you, do yourself a favor and support your local Asian grocery store if you have one. I should’ve done that the first time. That way you know that what you’re seeing is what you’re getting. I’m not even sure I believe that this is a product of Japan... I’m confused as to how some people on here are saying this is the best matcha they’ve ever had, but I guess each to their own.

Ordered this matcha for that extra kick in the mornings to give me a positive outlook on life. Mixed it with honey & almond milk and by gully that hit the spot...so much so that I decided to add extra matcha to the party. That didn’t go over too well, overloaded on positivity that I became positively become sick. In conclusion but this matcha but just know that too much matcha is a thing. Follow the suggested consumption amount.

This is fresh matcha! I wouldn't use this for tea, but it's good for shakes, smoothies, and probably baking (planning to make some waffles with it).I used it with my protein shake mix every other day and I absolutely love it! It has a nice bright color, though I can tell by the smell it's a little weak. I have had stronger culinary matcha, though it seems older and less fresh than this one.Like I said earlier, I wouldn't use it for tea, but it's perfect for baking and shaking :)

I usually buy matcha at the Japanese grocery store near me to use in smoothies. I found this powder to be up to the same standards that I expect. Has a deep green color. Seems very fresh. Is very fine and doesn’t clump. It dissolved quickly in my blender. The flavor of Matcha really came through in the smoothie I made with yogurt, pineapple and peaches, and a dash of vanilla. The flavor is so good, I might make some green tea ice cream with. To be clear, I received a complimentary product to give my honest review.

This is a great delicious tasting green tea. I did some research on how to use it. There are many ways to prepare and consume it. I chose to mix it with hot water only. During my research online it said that you might want to add some honey or maple syrup to cover the bitterness. I did not feel that this was necessary. I thought it was delicious as is.Would recommend and purchase again.

I buy matcha for making matcha lattes.The color is not as bright as more expensive brands, but that's not very important for me. However, it did taste relatively weak so I needed to use more of it.What bothered me most is that it didn't dissolve well enough in hot water. I use an electric whisk, which was made for frothing milk, that worked well for other more expensive brands.The price is good, though, so I'd consider it in case I would want to bake something with matcha, but for lattes I'll pass.

I love tea and decided to try the matcha green tea powder for a change. I made cold brew matcha and added a little bit of honey to sweeten and I was pleasantly surprised! It was delicious and refreshing. It’s becoming one my favorite go to drinks for the morning!

I tried different varieties of matcha, good, bad, cheap, expensive, culinary, ceremonial, but this matcha is really good for the price! I mean its not ceremonial but i am also not paying for a arm and a leg!! Haha. Its price, and coming from japan it’s actually really good especially for baking. I drink it with tea and its still good but i mean i would has already finished it and payed $100+ if i had gotten ceremonial. i would be out of it now if i hadent found this one. Love it!
